Friendly staff and clean rooms

I stayed here for a weekend for some bicycling in the area. So I didn't spend much time at the hotel. I arrived very late (after the front desk was closed), but thankfully, the hotel called and gave me directions on how to get to my hotel room. It was my first time checking in AFTER already spending a night. The staff was very friendly. My German is terrible, but they were patient. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast had a lot of variety (and large quantities). I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is an assortment of cake served in the afternoons. The hotel's does seem to be in the middle of nowhere, but it was a great spot to stop for families doing road trips or bus tourism. There are woods behind the hotel that you can walk through. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Traumhafte Hochzeitsfeier

Mein Mann und ich haben uns diesen August das Jawort gegeben und unsere Hochzeit mit 120 Personen dort gefeiert. Das Essen, welches wir in Buffetform bestellten, war von der Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch einfach sehr gut. Der Hotelbesitzer hat uns von der Planung bis hin zur Durchführung komplett begleitet, sodass wir wirklich wussten, dass bei unserem großen Tag nichts schief gehen kann. Die Mädels vom Service hatten bis 4 Uhr morgens ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und haben uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Die Einrichtung ist tatsächlich, wie in einigen Bewertungen hier, etwas rustikal, jedoch nicht beschädigt oder der gleichen. Für uns hat die Kombination der rustikalen Einrichtung mit dem landschaftlichen Flair eine gemütliche und festliche Atmosphäre geschaffen. Für uns, das Brautpaar war außerdem die Übernachtung im Hotel kostenlos. Unser Zimmer und das unserer Familie war sehr sauber und keineswegs zu bemängeln.
Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!

Nicht nochmal!

Waren für eine Nacht im Hotel Igel...eine zu viel.Die Zimmer sind schlicht und einfach,das Bad 70er Retro-Style.So gesehen für 87 Euro für 2 Personen +Frühstück o.k!Aber:der Service auf der Terrasse unterirdisch, Bestellungen wurden vergessen,beim Kellner war das Hemd schmutzig,die Hose kaputt.Trotzdem muss man zu Gute halten,dass er sich Mühe gegeben hat und nett war.Das Essen wird in riesigen Portionen serviert...für einen normalen Esser zu viel.Die Schnitzel waren meiner Meinung nach aus der Fritteuse,die Pommes waren eben Pommes,ein Schnitzel ging aufgrund der Menge wieder zurück,die Pommes auch...schade drum.Die Hälfte hätte locker gereicht!Der Zigeunerspiess war lecker,mit einer gutschmeckenden Sauce.Nun zum Bett:Im Zimmer 22 findet man durchgelegene Matratzen....auf einer Sperrholzplatteerholsamer Schlaf ist hier nicht möglich.Das ganze Haus ist extrem hellhörig,geht der Nachbar auf Toilette ist man live dabei.Die Lage ist landschaftlich sehr schön,die Aussicht vom Zimmer zum Wald war super.Trotzdem kommen wir nicht wieder!!!

Erholung

In einem Satz, es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.
Essen gut, Zimmer Sauber, Personal auf Zack, es bleiben keine Wünsche offen.
Die Inhaber Beate und Markus Bothner mit Ihrem Igel Team sind das Richtige Ausflugsziel für Jung und Alt.

War mal Top, jetzt nur noch Flop

Das ganze Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen. Stark abgenutztes Interieur im Restaurant so wie die Zimmer im 70er lock. In der Küche ist ein geschrei das man es im ganzen Gastraum hören kann.Die Servicekräfte sind nur in Leggings unterwegs. Beim Essen merkt man schnell das hier viele Fertigprodukte verwendet werden und der Beilagensalat braune stellen hat.
Wenn ich beruflich in der Gegend bin, gehe ich nun lieber in ein anderes Hotel.
