Cozy hotel in excellent location

Almost at the 3 river point, very central, this cozy hotel provides everything you need. Very nice, personal service, awesome breakfast and helpful personnel. Rooms are big and airy and include a roomy bathroom. The only challenge may be parking since the parking garage is very tight.

Get off me!

We had a puncture and stayed at the city hotel in Passau. It's cheap, but that comes at a price! The mattresses sag and you warp completely. The linens are not tense and crease within a short time and the TV started flashing at night. There's no elevator. I can't recommend this place at all.

Bad location on Party Street

Employees are always stressed
Rooms to street party venues getting very loud shouting on the street.

Solid hotel in good location

Solid hotel in good location. Room quiet, courtyard side. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good and sufficient. Short distance to the city center and train station. Suitcases could still stay in the hotel, on the day of departure. Ideal for overnight stay.

Central location in beautiful Passau

We stayed for one night as a family in a 3 bed room. Very basic but clean. Good shower in the attached bathroom. There is an option to add on breakfast, but there are many cafes nearby so this isn't really necessary. Internet was acessible with a code. On the downside, the whole hotel smells of food coming from the restaurant downstairs, and of course the noise level at night is a bit high as it is in a pedestrian area with a lot of restaurants around. This is a good place to stay if you are on a budget and/or travelling by train/bus. If you have a car you can park in one of the city garages, e.g. Parkhaus Schanzl which costs under €9 per day.
