Hop into the centre!

Perfect Location to visit the city centre! Just 2 minutes on foot and you have arrived.The Hotel was nice and clean,staff was friendly.A little outdated but that's the charm.I loved the radio in the room!

We certainly don't book here anymore

We were told by telephone that the hotel had opened for new arrivals from 2pm. We then stood in front of the hotel for 45 minutes in cold and wind. You couldn't sit anywhere either. The receptionist saw us standing there through the glass door and did not think to let us at least into the lobby where we could have sat down.
After she finally got comfortable opening the door and I approached her about her behavior, she justified it by saying that the rooms were not ready yet. Firstly, I don't believe that and secondly, of course, this is no reason to leave people standing outside in the cold.
We would have liked to have just put our luggage down and then could have done something.
Breakfast was good and reasonable in relation to the price. But because of the unfriendly receptionist, we will certainly not book here anymore.

No daily cleaning of the rooms

How can you run a hotel and not have daily cleaning and NOT inform of this beforehand or on the homepage or anything?
After the first day we came back and found the room untouched. After contacting reception we were told that there was a message in the bathroom that we should order cleaning if we wanted it.
This was not the case. Only message was the normal one with towels on the floor etc.
hotel is generally worn down and in dire need of a touch up.
Location is great and parking is free.

Price and quality not in balance

We have been here the weekend from 8 till 9 december.
The location is perfect. In walking distance from the trainstation and the city centre is just accros the street.
About the hotel. It is basic. Verry basic but typical German. A lot of wood.
The beds where good and the room was clean.
A minor is the missing of a safe in the room but there is a mini bar on the room.
Breakfast is ok but it was a way to crouded.
Extremely busy. People where waiting outside the room for having a sit to get breakfast.
We paid 119 euro for one night. A lot of money for a basic hotel.
The biggest plus is the location!

Convenient location

This hotel is ideally located, within easy walking distance to the old town. The breakfast is quite good for the price. However, you can hear everything! For the rooms facing the busy dual carriage-way, it’s impossible to sleep with the window open due to the noise! The shower in my room didn’t work and fan was extremely loud.
