Comfortable apartment with a beautiful view in a good location!
The Weller guest house is on the edge of Oberstdorf, a 10-minute walk to the city. From our apartment (apartment 14) there was a very nice view of the meadows and the mountains. The peace and quiet is wonderful!
The apartment is well laid out, comfortable and practically furnished and has absolutely everything you need, including a bread roll service (every morning there is a bag of bread rolls on the door shortly after seven - really great). The house has a swimming pool (which is due to be renovated soon), a small sauna, a fitness room and a room for storing bicycles (which was very important to us). You can get drinks in the house.
The landlords live in the house next door, are very friendly and personable and totally relaxed. Conclusion: we felt very comfortable here and enjoyed our stay.

4 rooms mix of couples & mom & teens
We were part of a group, 1 single adult, 1 mom & teen daughter, 1 couple in seventies & one mom & teenage son.
Our ‘superior’ room was fantastic! Recently renovated, tiled & wood floors with sitting room (pull out sofa bed which we didn’t use) huge king size bed (2 individual mattresses & 2 duvets - very comfortable with a great Mountain View from the bed.
! Bathroom looked all new, white & good hot water & heated towel rail.
Kitchen was small but well stocked, recently built or renovated with all new appliances, the cutlery drawer was disguised as a panel under the oven which was confusing!
Only thing I would ask the owner to add would be wine glasses, we had lots of plates & bowls but one champagne glass one small wine glass & a tall bier glass for our wine, odd as they have a wine cellar in the building that operates on a trust system.
One other couple had an identical room to us, so they were delighted.
the 2 bedroom apartment wasn’t as updated as ours but perfectly pleasant and clean. The single room was yet to be updated & definitely older but was priced accordingly, i wouldn’t choose that room, I would pay the extra in future! So check the photos!
Owner was very helpful we rang him if needed, he wasn’t intrusive at all but I think he lived onsite. Helped book a taxi etc.
Location was good, easy to walk into town. A large normally priced supermarket (not one of the tiny supermarkets charging overpriced goods as you are captive in a ski resort ) The supermarket had bakery & coffee if needed & was probably 100 yards away?
We never had a problem parking but we had 2 cars for 4 rooms.
We didn’t use the wine cellar.
We didn’t go into the pool which was in the cellar but it looked fine and clean / well maintained as did the sauna.
Great WiFi, all in all a great visit for my daughter & I, we enjoyed being able to eat on &had the facility to cook in the room for 5 people.

Nice place, good location.
We rented an apartment for 5 nights. The place was very clean, the owners nice, the location almost ideal.
They have a small sauna and pool on premises, included in the price. To save going to the store, you can get water, beer, wine and juice from them, for a fee.
Dogs accepted, but they don't tell you that (for the apartment at least) it's €12 extra per night. I don't really understand that as you also pay a special cleaning fee for the apartment, so why the €12?
All in all, a nice place.

Good accomodation
The owners are very helpful and welcoming. The room was spotless on arrival, the kitchen was very well equipped and the view from the balcony breathtaking. You can order morning pastries and the Rewe is 300 metres away. The pool and sauna are usable and can make for a relaxing afternoon. The only downpoint might be the old furniture in the non renovated rooms and the lack of a restaurant. Minor flaws compared to the whole package. Well located for the Fellhorn bus.

Good rooms and location
Had a week in Weller with two teenagers, rooms spacious and clean. Great views across the fields to the mountains. Pool, sauna, sun garden and cellar with drinks for purchase made this a pleasant stay. Close to a supermarket and bus stop to the Fellhornbahn cable car. About 15 mins gentle walk to centre of Oberstdorf and the train station. Owners live in basement area and always helpful.
