Modern meets tradition.

Modern meets tradition.
A family-run exclusive wellness hotel that is very stylishly and modernly furnished while still offering a family charm.
Noteworthy are:
- spacious rooms that are very clean and well-maintained. This applies to the entire hotel as well as the wellness area.
- The staff is very accommodating.
- The decor style of the rooms is either modern or optionally traditional.
- The hotel offers free parking.
- Every Friday, a free shuttle goes to the sister hotel -Meiser Design- and back. There, the "frisays fever" takes place. The senior manager personally drives the shuttle bus.
- The wellness area features two saunas, a steam bath, outdoor and indoor pools, very well-maintained and spacious relaxation areas, etc.
- On birthdays, one receives a complimentary dessert during dinner, and the senior owner joins a table to play a few tunes on the accordion, very charming.
- In the evening, there is the option to choose a la carte or the buffet, even if one is already seated at the table.
- The breakfast buffet is very diverse. Omelettes and waffles are freshly prepared by the chefs.
- During the week, a program is offered in the wellness area, such as yoga.
- By car, it takes about 11 minutes to get to Dinkelsbühl. This city is an absolute recommendation.
It should be noted that
- The last sauna infusion already took place at 4:30 PM on a Saturday. Here, an extension would be optimal.
- The steam room would be even more pleasant with an aromatic scent and would enhance the wellness factor.
- Unfortunately, there is no minibar in the room to cool drinks, etc.
This hotel combines tradition with modernity. It is highly recommended for a stay.

Okay, room very nice

Very nice rooms, breakfast was ok, the sausage and cheese not regional! It's too bad. The juice machine is not working properly. The spa area is very modern and tasteful, the pool water was too cool for me. Steam bath was good but without aroma.

Price Performance ratio absolutely unacceptable

Junior Suite booked for 3 nights Suite old in need of renovation, in the bathroom several chips on the sink faucet defective. Unacceptable for a 4 star hotel in Germany.
At breakfast e.g. only a fully automatic coffee machine available which led to long waiting times, the food generally disappointingly different than on the website no a la carte order possible but only buffet, the majority only lukewarm, which especially concerns the gala dinner on New Year's Eve

The hotel itself, the rooms, and the buffets (except for the setup of the buffet) are very top. Staff very friendly. My boyfriend and I booked two nights to relax and unwind. Unfortunately, that was not quite possible. We expected something different from a welness spa hotel. Although the pool area had many cozy free loungers, but if children play in the pool all day, jump into the water and scream around, you can hardly relax and switch off. Which probably explains the free ones. The water in the pool never has the temperature as stated. Way too cold. If you want to swim ok, but not if you want to relax. No whirlpool. Sauna area much too small. Two saunas and a steam bath, that's it. It was a nice stay but the result we expected was not met. For the price we paid, a pity and here we will not go again.
