Large clean room with a view of the park, very friendly landlady, parking garage, and parking space in front of the hotel for larger vehicles.

Still good even after years of absence.

We were passing through on our way home from Stuttgart and stopped off in Nagold. A few years ago we often visited Nagold for family reasons and often stayed at the Adler - when the Sticker family still ran it. Yes, it was still tasty under the new owners: good Swabian cuisine for every taste and more. Friendly service, very clean and the restaurant is still very cozy.

Two sides of the same coin.

For family reasons we were back in Nagold at the Hotel Adler.
If you are lucky enough to get a room in the new building with a view of the river and the park,
then nothing better could happen to you.
The breakfast offered is good and plentiful, and I also liked the service here.
As the hotel passed into Chinese hands a few years ago, I don't want to say anything about the restaurant,
especially as the previous owner was also the head chef.

Convenient

Perfectly located in the center of the small town of Nagold, it is divided into two parts, the historical one and a newer one (where I stayed ) where rooms are efficiently german minded , so functionality but not too much emotional. You get a good bed, a properr bathroom, a minibar and wifi that could work better, all this with views overlooking the green area with a creek , where I recommend you to jog if you like the activity.
Hotel provide parking spaces for hotel guests at no charge and that is useful when you are exactly in the middle of the town. Good quality but not too much variety on the brakfast selection offered with friendly service.
A good option if you are in this area, from hotel most bars are restaurants are reachable in few inutes of walking into this well maintained german town where historical buildings are smartly combined with modern constructions.

Nice little hotel and decent restaurant

Restaurant is good with Schwabian food options. Great to try the local food.
Rooms are clean, small but functional. No issues with room temperature. Wifi occasionally temperamental but not the end of the world!
