Nice family hotel with very good cuisine

We had our multi-generational family day at Eggert again. On that hot weekend, we were able to enjoy the outdoor area above all else. A second parallel event did not bother us at all either. Only wish: at least a fan for some air movement in the restaurant in the evening would be a significant improvement on hot days.

Hotel in a beautiful location near Münster

The Landhaus Eggert is wonderfully quiet, surrounded by greenery, old trees, and a great large garden, with the beautiful large pool in the middle. The saunas are very tiny; more than 3 people do not fit inside. The very good dinner, where we were served professionally and warmly, is worth highlighting. Unfortunately, the premises are rather dark and a bit old-fashioned and could use a modernization. The breakfast was below average; unfortunately, there were only 3 types of cheese and 3 types of cold cuts, so one would have wished for more variety. We were charged an extra €3.50 for coffee, which is not stated anywhere; that should not happen at such a hotel. The price-performance ratio here is unfortunately not good at all overall, and there is still a lot of room for improvement.

A fantastic weekend with the whole family

We have been celebrating our annual family reunion with about 30 people, ranging from 14 months to 86 years old, at Landhaus Eggert for many years. We also had a wonderful time together there this year. The staff is exceptionally friendly, even to children and dogs. Everyone is very competent. The manager and the junior manager are always available on-site and assist in the restaurant and wherever necessary.
The rooms are always very nice, and the pool was especially great on the hot days this year.
The food in the restaurant was outstanding again this year.
The location of the hotel and the entire well-maintained facility are always impressive.
We are already looking forward to the next time!

Münsterland hospitality in a beautiful setting

I have been here for the second time now and must say, it is always nice, the service and the staff are really very nice.
It is particularly noticeable that the owner always comes by personally and inquires about the guests; this leaves an impression, as it is not common everywhere anymore.
I would gladly come back.
