Comfortable, Friendly & Good Location.

All very friendly staff, comfortable room and good breakfast. Good location for the Hauptbahnhof and short walk to Theresienwiese and a bit further to Marianplatz.

Beautiful hotel with a bit of old-fashioned charm.

We had booked three nights here.
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the main train station.
We were greeted warmly at the reception. The staff are friendly and open to a little chat.
We easily took the elevator to our room on the 2nd floor. The entire hotel - breakfast room and our room - is decorated in a slightly old-fashioned style, with dark furniture, heavy curtains, and many oil paintings on the walls.
We liked it. Everything in the room was clean as well.
A minibar is available, but it was empty. The location is quite quiet.
Our room faced the back, so we hardly heard the streetcar. What is always important to me:
You can open the window wide. You must return the room key when you are out in the city, but since the reception is open 24 hours, this is not a problem.
The breakfast is plentiful, with bread, rolls, croissants, cakes, cold cuts, and cheese both served on platters and individually packaged (Camembert, liverwurst, etc.), butter, margarine, raw vegetables, fruit, yogurts, muesli, milk, etc.
For drinks, there are orange and multi-fruit juices from a dispenser and other juices from Granini bottles. Coffee or tea is served in a pot per person at the table.
Perhaps also a refill, we did not try it.
There were also boiled eggs. I would have appreciated scrambled eggs, but otherwise everything was fine.
For those with a sweet tooth, there were Hanuta, Duplo, candies, and other sweets, also available to take away. I thought it was a nice idea.
There is a bar on the ground floor, but it was closed. The Bavaria restaurant, just 30 meters away, is highly recommended for dinner and also for a nightcap.
We would vacation here again.

Convenient location and very welcoming

Hotel near the Hauptbanhof, but in a quiet area, with 24/24 reception, in a convenient location to reach by public transport (tram and metro) the main destinations of Munich, clean, with very kind and welcoming staff who also speak Italian! Good breakfast, clean, comfortable bed, small rooms but with a nice view and those on the top floor suggestive with beams; comfortable bathroom, linen with a very good scent✨
Definitely to go back ❤️

A good compromise

Stuck by the football crowd, we fell back on this Pension which would not have been our first choice. But we were not disappointed.
Barely eccentric location, 5-10 minutes walk from the central station and the beginning of the old town.
Small but clean room.
Fridge, no air conditioning.
Excellent Breakfast.
Attentive and friendly staff.

Standard 3 star hotel, near Munich central station

Standard 3 star hotel, key lock for room doors and left at reception when you leave the room. Lift and stairs access to room. Staff super friendly. Breakfast was ok. Starts at 7am though so a bit annoying if you have an early day trip.
Decent size room, desk and chair in room. No ac so the room was warm at times. Bed was hard and pillow was flat as a pancake.
15min walk to the old town and 5-7mins to the station entrance. Location was a bit dicey did not feel safe walking alone late evening would not want to attempt to do that walk late at night. It was ok during the day.
Staff can book taxi for you, though mine appeared to be a private vehicle amd not the standard taxi, no metre and expensive trip to the airport €90 (compared to approx €70 when googled). But not much you can do when travelling in the very early hours, so get them to confirm approx cost and make sure it is metre taxi
