Very nice, family hotel. New and modern furnished rooms. Very good breakfast, great restaurant. Super dog friendly. Very good starting point for hikes in the area. Great service and very friendly staff.

Pleasant atmosphere, right in the center

A day for Christmas stayed here. The Christmas atmosphere was full.
The owners are very friendly and the room was excellent and clean.
Highly recommended.

Modern clean rooms but no longer

The lodge wants to be 4 star level. She's not the one. Reception is staffed by phone only, there are no drinks, linen minibar and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant is only open 4 days a week. The suitcases have to be carried up the stairs. Lift misread. At the breakfast buffet there were tea bags but no hot water.
The room was very spacious but had no window. In the passageway to the bathroom there was a narrow terrace door that gave a view of a roof terrace with garbage, tipping and building materials. After showering, the bathroom was flooded because there was no separation. Price Performance does not fit front and rear.

Super Hotel!!

We stayed three days at this hotel.
Friendly welcome on arrival
Rooms are very modern and comfortably furnished.
Breakfast is perfect and extensive
Staff is super friendly

Central Location next to its own Cafe / Restaurant

Neat and tidy hotel in a small town for one night at the end of a 260 mile motorcycle ride - 1st day of 24 - Made welcome by the manager who spoke little English but was happy to provide parking for our Goldwing Motorcycles in their garage next to the owner's mercedes ! Access to the hotel was via a paved shared space access. Rooms were basic but clean as was the bathroom - strange very deep shower tray in our room, i think to use as a mini bath if you could get in the lotus position :) Evening meal at their adjoining 4-Witz restaurant was pleasant with helpful staff and great German Weis beer. Breakfast was also served in 4-Witz and had a large selection mainly catering for Continental Europe with limited hot offerings.
