Very good
The Bichlerhof is 100% a "guesthouse with heart"!
We were guests here again for a few days with our little foster child and felt completely comfortable this time as well.
The rooms are comfortably furnished and kept very clean. The entire staff/team is extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and nice.
The breakfast buffet is varied and thus ensures a good start to the day. A great swimming pool and sauna are located in the building and you can also book a professional massage.
You can reach the town center in a few minutes' walk and the view of the Karwendel is outstanding.
I must absolutely mention that four-legged friends are also very welcome and there is also space provided for them to run around on the property. Very nice, because we would never go on vacation without our dog.
We would like to thank everyone who made our stay so pleasant, we would love to come back, and will of course recommend it to others.

A great hotel and a super team.
We were there for 10 days and have never experienced such a wonderful experience in our hotels. A staff for whom cleanliness, service, and friendliness come first. A relatively small, family-run establishment where they strive to fulfill every wish of the guest. We felt like we were with friends and will definitely come back. Thank you very much for this experience.

"With heart"
"With heart" is not just a slogan here, but a way of life. We were welcomed and cared for very warmly. The quaint hotel has everything you need for a nice vacation: Great location, wonderful view, good breakfast, clean rooms, excellent swimming pool as well as sauna and, above all, very friendly and dedicated hosts and staff.

Not quite ready for prime time
This place is not as special as reviews had led me to believe. First, the positives: employees tried to be helpful, and the location provided easy access to the lively and picturesque part of town . I was struck, however, by the impression that this hotel is not really up to serving international guests.
First of all, I was surprised that none of their informational materials—not the reservation confirmation, not the town’s calendar of events, not the booklet describing the hotel’s amenities or the restaurant menu—were available in English. So, you were so largely on your own, trying to figure out what their guest options were.
I was also put off by the fact that throughout our multiday stay, there was a folding bed, a large cardboard box, and cleaning equipment out in the hallway, on full display. It was like they did not know or care that guests were in the house.
Perhaps, these standards are deemed acceptable by Germans, but our family ( which does not need fancy) were put off by them.

Liebe Familie, vielen Dank für Ihren Besuch und daß Sie sich Zeit genommen haben uns zu bewerten, wenn auch diese Bewertung nicht so ausgefallen ist, wie wir es uns gewünscht hätten. Schön wäre es gewesen, wenn sich auch Ihre Bewertung in die durchweg's guten eingereiht hätte, zumal wir erst vor zwei Wochen einen Award bei Tripdavisor gewinnen konnten und noch in " Feierstimmung " waren. Aber auch negative Bewertungen sind " wichtig ", da sie uns helfen mit einem wachen Blick durch unser Haus zu gehen und Kritik positiv umzusetzen. Und- uns war das schreckliche Bild im Housekeeping so nicht bewußt und wir entschuldigen uns für diesen unprofessionellen Anblick. Wir haben beim Schreiner nun saubere Ablagemöglichkeiten bestellt und arbeiten auch sonst daran. Nur muß man eines fairerweise sagen: die Dinge liegen " nur " während der Zimmerreinigung da, nicht's desto Trotz darf es so nicht ausschauen. Auch das Gästebett muß einen anderen Platz finden, wir brauchen es aber regelmäßig, wenn Gäste Aufbettungen spontan brauchen. Wir würden uns freuen, Sie beim nächsten Mal überzeugen zu dürfen....
