Good hotel in a central location.

The hotel is almost directly at the cathedral. The rooms are perfectly fine for the category, the service was good and attentive. The breakfast was very good, as were the dishes and wines in the beer garden/courtyard. Overall, a very good price-performance ratio.

Good hotel in the old town location.

Centrally located in the old town and yet super quiet. The cathedral chimes every quarter hour starting at 6:00 AM, but is hardly audible with the window closed. For those who are very sensitive, earplugs are offered free of charge; I did not need them.
Rooms relatively newly renovated, simple, but completely sufficient.
Breakfast at this price is absolutely good: pre-filled rolls to choose from, boiled eggs, croissants, muesli, and much more. Booking it is definitely recommended.
Restaurant with plenty of options and good cuisine; beer always arrives well chilled at the table, which is not common everywhere. I enjoyed it.

A perfect stay in prime location!

Located in the middle of the old town - it could hardly get better! It is all within walking distance and yet it is pleasantly quiet. Staff are exceptionally friendly, attentive and always helpful.
The food was consistently excellent - from breakfast buffet to dinner.
Our room was newly renovated, modernly decorated and very tastefully designed.
Overall a wonderful stay - we will definitely come back and can recommend the place without restriction!

Absolutely unacceptable behaviour – never again

We have been regular guests at this hotel for years. This is all the more shocking what we had to experience this time.
After the arrival and delivery of all room keys, there was an argument in the hotel restaurant after my companion was insulted. Instead of professionally de-escalating the situation, the hotel staff themselves escalated massively.
I was severely insulted by the staff (“slut, out”) and filmed without my consent. Afterwards we – eight people with several booked rooms – were expelled from the house. We immediately returned all keys, left the hotel and paid the restaurant bill in full. None of the rooms were used.
The real scandal followed afterwards:
Nevertheless, we subsequently received the invoice for the full price for ALL rooms.
This approach is not only disrespectful, but simply deterrent and dubious. A hotel that insults, films, throws out and then tries to fully charge for all rooms has lost all understanding of hospitality.
We travel a lot and have never experienced anything like this in all these years. After this experience we definitely won’t be coming back – and can only strongly advise against staying here.
Absolute disappointment. No recommendation.

We were there with our circle of friends (12 people, 4 doubles / 4 doubles) and had wonderful days at the hotel. The beer garden is great and the food was also very good. For breakfast we expected only one snack and got much more.
The location of the hotel is unbeatable. There is a large, beautiful balcony for all guests, with a fantastic view of the cathedral, especially in the evening.
There are always small defects everywhere, e.g. bathrooms too small and shower entry too narrow.
But overall a nice 3 star hotel and we would stay there again anytime.
