Very good value in this popular modern budget hotel in the renovated port area of Mainz. It was annoying that there were no complementary drinks in the room (such as coffee or water) but it was good that hot food was available in the hotel at a reasonable price

Suitable hotel for a bike tour along the Rhine

Centrally located hotel at the Zollhafen. Bike path right outside the door. Good starting point for tours along the Rhine. Rooms are air-conditioned, but unfortunately there is no way to put clothes away in the room, except on the desk or luggage rack. The toilet is separate, but the sink and the shower exit are not enclosed. Meaning everything is open. The staff is very nice and friendly, and everything is fine at breakfast as well.

Okay breakfast. We had 3-night stay so breakfast was nice, nothing fancy though. Our 2nd time here so it seems we like it

Don’t recommend

Front desk check in person very rude, room was small with sink/shower beside bed, noisy if up at night. Water pressure in shower low, hot water limited. AC in room would not stay on. Only one pillow per person available. Not convenient location. Breakfast very good.
