Gem for slowing down

A place to switch off – that’s exactly what it is.
The kitchen is also highly recommended.
Breakfast can be enjoyed in peace and quiet overlooking the lake.
At dinner, the evening sun is reflected in the water.
The rooms (apartments) invite you to stay.
A walk around the lake – in early April – opens up a beautiful, wide view of the opposite shores.

Small worthwhile stopover

The food was at the very highest level. Big praise to the kitchen. The service staff was also absolutely courteous and is attentive to all requests. Also the location on the lake nestled in the woods makes this place special. Gladly we come back to this beautiful restaurant!

Brandenburg at its most beautiful: a place to dream, to remember and to pass on...

It was supposed to be a birthday present for Mum, and Dad was allowed to come along: 3 days holiday in the Lindenhof on the fairytale Wurlsee near Lychen. And because Mum deserved it, the weather gods gave us deep blue skies, bright sunshine and shiny May greenery. Could all of that be topped? Oh yes, with the remarkable qualities of a hotel whose location on the peninsula couldn't be more beautiful: spacious, homely apartments, attentive, unobtrusive service, tasteful, civilised interiors and stylish (visual) artistic furnishings. The food and drinks here are highly praised. Agreed! (A few "detours" into the down-to-earth would not have bothered us, though) With the perfect breakfast and a dreamy view of the gently moving lake, the attentive staff sent us off on three wonderful days of adventure in the Uckermark. What a great hotel and landscape experience, what a great birthday present! By the way: sitting comfortably on the paradisiacal lawn looking out over the expansive Wurlsee, Rosi and I and our friends experienced Georg Heym's verses more closely than ever:
"All the landscapes have
been filled with blue,
All the bushes and trees of the river,
Which swells far to the north." ...

again and again! I've never eaten catfish so well before, the wild garlic hollandaise with the asparagus is great.

the food was great, go back to this super CUISINE. IT'S WORTH IT. Service with humor and commitment. We were delighted and the ambience was priceless. Prices are justified, could be higher with the SERVICE and great FOOD
