Very good for stop over

We were at the "VomenFestival" in Lörrach and had an overnight stay in this hotel, which is about 3 km from the center (in the Hagen district, directly below Rötteln Castle.) Bus stop is nearby and the bus leaves every half hour.
The rooms are functional and clean, even the bathroom, recently renovated, for a two nights fully fine. Attention, not barrier-free! The price/performance ratio is good (we come from a tourist region and are therefore used to much higher prices). The breakfast buffet was small but fine. The owners, an Asian couple, are friendly and very eager.
If I am in Lörrach again, I will book this accommodation again.

Bad for me

Hotel functional IKEA furniture. Pillows are very bad there is no breakfast loud. You hear every conversation from the next room in the hallway of the Wi-Fi is so loud that you can't sleep. So I'm not going to this hotel again. It's a disaster for me. Too bad hotel owner or they run this very nice but just too loud. You can really hear every sound.

Transit Italy

Good hotel with good breakfast. Can park safely. Convenient for transit to Italy. It is a pity that there is no air conditioning in the room. Can be very hot.

The quiet and our particular room "the apartment" really make this place.

Wow, we got the 2nd floor apartment (though it cost just a little more). The space was amazing. Two bedrooms, a decent bathroom, separate kitchen, a small balcony off the living room. And…a floor fan! Made me so happy during the hot August. The skylights open, and have electric blinds, so adjusting airflow is possible. (However, the scent of the neighbors’ pot smoking wafted in pretty heavily at one point.) We were split regarding the comfort of the beds. Note that there is no lift, and even breakfast is downstairs (under the ground floor), so you will do stairs. The breakfast included great softboiled eggs and a coffee machine, with take-away an option. However, it was otherwise not quite as inspired as we'd gotten used to elsewhere in Germany. The morning desk clerk was very friendly and informative.

Average and economical

During our stay at Burghotel Lorrach, we were treated to a comfortable stay. This is a small economical hotel, yet provide's all the basic necessities. Although there is no elevator, they do provide free onsite parking and breakfast. For those traveling on a restricted budget, this place is ideal.
