Haven in the Bavarian countryside
Very quaint hotel in the countryside just outside Leipheim. Bedrooms had lots of wood so felt like you are in a farmhouse but modern at the same time. Restaurant was pleasant and the staff were great. Big garden area for relaxing or dining. Great forest or countryside walks at your doorstep.

Ups and downs
The country inn has a nice and quiet location (although the highway is very close), the rooms are small but cozy. The Service was very friendly and the breakfast good.
Negatively, however, we also noticed a few points: The check-in (4pm) and check-out times (Sunday 10:00am) are an absolute shortcoming in our view. We were invited to a wedding party at the hotel (the start of the wedding ceremony in the greenhouse of the country inn was 14:00), as we had a longer journey, we still had to change for the wedding party. First we were informed that we could change in the toilet of the restaurant. Our expressions then probably prompted the lady at the reception to check our room, which had been reserved for weeks, and lo and behold, it was already ready to move into. So we were allowed to go to our room, with the announcement, but not to tell this any further, because officially the rooms are only released from 16:00!!! The wedding celebrations in the premises of the country inn last until 2:00 a.m. at night; in this respect we also found the check-out time on Sunday until 10:00 a.m. not optimal. Also in the normal case (e.g. For example, a relaxed weekend) we find the very short room availabilities rather off-putting.
Regarding the room we found it very disadvantageous that there was no fridge (extremely bad if you have to store e.g. medicines cool); also a safe and maybe one or the other drawer (not all clothes can be hung on a hanger; so only the opened suitcase remains) in the room would not be bad.
Personally, we are also not a fan of kept open sanitary facilities, separated only with glass panes, on which, in some cases, already peeling off film is supposed to create a frosted glass effect.

Nice rooms, good food!
The room was great - the Goldnest was perfect for us and the children. The open bathroom is a bit of a challenge for four people, but it is very modern. The beer garden and the food were also really great! Unfortunately, the playground is no longer in very good shape and the petting zoo is basically a barn/stable on the pasture.
Otherwise, we only found out by chance at the second breakfast that sausage and egg dishes can be ordered. That's a shame and could certainly be proactively communicated to guests. The quality of the breakfast was top notch, as was the service when checking in/at reception. We would recommend the Waldvogel!

Great stop on our way to Legoland
This hotel is truly a gem. Personnel is very kind, hotel is clean and neat.
Our room was nice, with all the necessary accommodations. It seems to be recently renovated, with the use of a lot of wood. This gave the room a modern and cosy feel.
Wifi is not that great though, and you should ask for a code at the reception. One code per device you want to hook up.
This hotel still is a farm, where they bake their own bread, cultivate their vegetables and prepare their own marmelades,....
Outside you can make a nice walk, they have a playground for the kids (this needs some renovation work), you can pet the farm animals, they have a maze and a 'soccer golf' nearby.
We had some diner as well, and that was just great. Price was not too high, and it tasted delicious.
The evening before you're asked what you want for breakfast. There is way too much to choose from, and most of it is homemade. Breakfast was again superb.
If I have to point one more negative point, most of the personnel doesn't speak English at all, or very little, which makes it hard for them to express themselves. This could lead to the fact they are perceived as unkind, but they are certainly not.
Tip: When ordering in the restaurant, ask for both the German and English menu so you can point in the German menu what you want to eat, after having made your choice in the English one :)

Modern family-run hotel
Lovely little family-run hotel with brand new conference rooms. The Breakfast was delicious and the rooms are newly renovated.Nice place for Business or leisure time. The restaurant serves home-made juice. Excellent!!!
