If you don't eat and sleep here, you missed something.

Idyllic, quiet location, large terrace with views of the countryside with stork and heron nest, alpacas. All well restored and lovingly decorated. Local, refined cuisine prepared by boss and chef, great breakfast with crispy rolls and fresh cured meats, attentive, brisk staff, ample parking, moderate prices. Overall many reasons to come back.

Kitchen, rooms, service and relaxation in nature is absolutely top!! THE THIRD TIME HERE

This is my third time here and it is always perfect:
Very quiet rooms at the back facing the canal/enclosure, excellent local cuisine, very friendly staff (FAMILY BUSINESS) and spacious double rooms. We will be back. Carina Hasselbacher

Just a little dark. Parking next to the hotel.
We didn't have breakfast so...
the city of Lübeck is very nice. Beautiful architecture. Worth a visit and to stay there for a whole day which we did

Nice, tidy and very cozy

Again here for the fourth summer in a row. I like it here. Looked forward to this overnight stay with savory food and hoist from barrels. Friendly staff with that little extra personal.
The rooms are neat and quite spacious. Then it's a bonus to sit in the garden and look at the stork in his nest. Some alpacas, ponys and emu stroll around the garden. Broken mix that goes together. Popular kitchen because it was almost fully booked in the evening. Tasted a new favorite for breakfast, zweibelmettwurst.
The room rate is very affordable for what you get.
Will definitely be back.

Quiet, clean and easy parking

In the centre of this small village, it is a quality small hotel. Not many rooms (10 or so?) and no lift (elevator) so be prepared to carry your luggage up one flight of stairs. Helpful and friendly staff. Good food.
