A traditional hotel for guests who love the original and appreciate the brand Bergsteigerdorf.

Not the usual sterile hotel atmosphere, but authentic and fitting for a mountain village. Friendly reception, rustic rooms, attentive service, customer-oriented, local/very good cuisine, and a rich breakfast buffet.

Christmas 2025 at the Hotel zur Post

Thank you for the wonderful Christmas days to Mr Rauh and his friendly staff. Especially the loving treatment of my little Oskar made the days at the Hotel zur Post unforgettable. We will definitely come back.

Delicious dinner

I was at the inn from the Hotel zur Post in Kreuth for dinner. Very friendly and attentive service. Attractive regional menu. Delicious dishes. Pleasant rustic atmosphere in the dining room. I felt comfortable and will certainly come back again.

Urgent modernisation needed

Nice house, unfortunately old. Small bathroom with the charm of the early 80s. No info folder, poor Wi-Fi, hardly usable. Mobile network no alternative there too weak. Outlets in short supply. Breakfast sufficient but to the last day without any hot part. With 140 € the night significantly overpriced!

Good Cook, All Else Terrible

The food was good. The waitstaff were not al all professional, the room was not up to standard, the concierge had no time for us and would not listen to complaints. All in all, not a good place to stay.

First you have to learn English, before you write such a stupid comment! "Everything else was terrible", "the waiting staff were not at all professional", and, we don't have a concierge. So please super hero go back to school! How can you make so many mistakes in such a short notice ??? Absolutely disgusting! I guess, you are are person full of hate. I recommend, you go back to your shrink for mental health!
