Great location, very friendly service and dog friendly hotel
We spent a night at the Parkhotel from Friday to Saturday and felt very comfortable there. We had a double room with an additional sofa bed, so we had space for three without any problems.
The location of the hotel is really top, and especially convenient are the free parking right in front of the house. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout our stay.
Breakfast also convinced us: rich, with good selection and very delicious.
The room was a bit older and the bathroom also has a “retro charm” from the 70s, but everything was clean and tidy – and that’s crucial for us. So for one night, totally okay.
We also found very positive that we could bring our dog. For 15 € extra per night this was possible without any complications, which was a big plus for us.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend the place.

The rooms are very very very dated and the photos on website does not reflect the actual state due to clever photography. I booked 3 rooms for buinsness and one of the rooms was not cleaned. It was changed for another room but that room did not have hot water. Reception was locked when we got back and you only could get the tea and coffee for the room from reception. The kettle in one of the rooms did not work very well and I had to fiddle with it to make it work. After a long day of travelling this was not what me and my colleagues expected. I hope this feedback helps the property improve its quality.

Moselle ADE.
After we asked the manager that the room smelled of cigarettes, he quickly gave us an explanation. The fact is that there was cigarette ash in the trash can, under the newly inserted trash bag. When we asked him about the sauna, he wanted 15 euros per person, but he went down to 7.50 because we weren't happy with the very plain room. According to the manager, our room had already been renovated. (One day later, a decorative pillow that was hanging on the wall above the head of the bed fell down. There was about 1 cm of dust on it.)
We didn't use the sauna because the description advertised the sauna as a feature of the house. There was no mention of costs.
The last time I set the breakfast table in a hostel was 50 years ago. I was in a youth hostel. Here, everyone could lend a hand while the boss stood in the doorway and played on his cell phone.
The breakfast buffet was a joke, but we didn't laugh. The rolls were very very cheap. You couldn't even cut them through, they were so rubbery. There were 3 types of sausage.
(the same sausage every day, meat sausage, salami and raw ham) hard-boiled eggs, cucumbers and tomato slices. There was also muesli, but I didn't look any further. A lady asked the manager about a strange aftertaste in the cream cheese, after a quick check it was found to be good. There was also juice. I had the orange juice, very cheap.
The next 2 days I got rolls from the bakery. The coffee was good because it came from a machine. The small wrapped biscuits had already expired on January 24th and September 23rd. We left a day early, this stay was absolutely pointless. In the reviews I read about the friendly staff. Which staff? I only saw the manager and a cleaner in the rooms once. And the manager is friendly, he gets good money for it.
We have been to the Moselle several times in recent years, but this year was the last time.
I don't want to be reminded of this holiday anymore. I didn't take any photos out of sheer frustration. I really don't want to be reminded of it.

I would not book again because of the mattresses and the price/performance ratio
I was in the hotel from August 3rd to August 7th, 2023. I paid €120/day for a single room. The mattress was "worn out". Another room didn't help either. The rooms are very basic. Breakfast was enough for me personally. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is not good. Nice and friendly owner.

Mediocre hotel with dated rooms. Great breakfast but... in a loud environment!
Hotel on a fairly busy main road. The rooms are a bit dated, but the breakfast was excellent. Right opposite the hotel is a bar with (very) loud music until the night. Not recommended....
