Traditional Charm and Warm Hospitality

A lovely and charming hotel with a warm, traditional atmosphere and beautiful antique touches. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We especially loved the authentic local feeling and the friendly ladies serving breakfast in traditional Dirndl dresses. A truly cozy and memorable stay – highly recommended!

Cozy small village family hotel

The staff is amazing! Small family style hotel with delicious restaurant. Felt like home. Be prepared for Bavarian tubs! Not for people with any mobility or joint issues. Ask for extra pillows. Decor is a bit outdated but super clean. The village is very sleepy. Small nice grocery store, banks, baker and meat store and also a few Bavarian restaurants which were wonderful.

Nice local hotel in a cute location!

Koenigsten is a cute village tucked away in the countryside. The hotel is charming with specious rooms and very friendly staff.
restaurant dinner was delicious, and even better was the beer.
breakfast was included and selection was OK.
Only drawback was the lack of WiFi, but I guess was expected in such location.

nice place for relaxing

We stayed there in the first week of 2017, we were looking for a quiet place with nice nature and wellness. We much enjoyed the proximity of many good hiking trails, the peaceful village, the wellness area (two saunas and a a whirpool) and the mostly good cuisine. We would definitely return there for a long weekend.
