Friendly welcome on checking in and throughout our stay. Breakfast had a variety of choice and plentiful. We stayed in room 101 which was advertised as a basic double room. It was small and compact, though clean and in hindsight we would have booked a better sized room. The hotel itself is in a good location. We did experience loud noise from outside late evening and early morning and had to keep our window closed.
Overall a pleasant experience.

Funeral tragedy of the German hotel industry

Little mourning, first you should move into a small attic nursery as a double room, then there are only cold showers in the morning. The shower soap dispenser unfortunately empty, second duvet and pillow only on request. Instead of proactively informing the clientele, you can then send an email asking for a price reduction as a customer-friendly way to offer each guest a price reduction. Pictures of the rooms are probably from another house, in any case, ours was not even half as big. Once and never again, fortunately there are other alternatives for upcoming visits to Koblenz, and if not booked yet, my recommendation, look on!

Nice and clean hotel within walking distance of all sights!

Friendly and very helpful receptionists.
Luggage can be left on earlier arrival.
Hotel provides a parking ticket at 17€/night. The parking is 2min walking distance from the hotel and very close to the 'altstadt'.
Spacious room. Good beds.
Bathroom is narrow but fine.
Good shower.
There are 2 bottles of sparkling water.
The breakfast buffet is varied, very well cared for and very tasty. It is also being supplemented. The breakfast room is very neat.
Insulation is a minus:
Our room was located at the back on the first floor. You can hear the ventilation with the window closed.
You can also hear the steps of someone passing in the hallway.
The toilet in the hallway was next to our room. We heard the automatic paper roll holder every time we visited the toilet.

The staff at this property was amazing. I have never had such a wonderful experience with customer service- specifically the front desk woman made our entire trip better!
