We went for dinner as a pair. Great service, excellent service, amazing food. Portions are absolutely generous. I can really only recommend it.

That was definitely not the last "meal."

First time for me having dinner in Kirchzarten

My mother took me to this restaurant. We sat outside and had dinner there.
She ate half a chicken with French Fries and salad and I had regional noodles with cheese, onion and salad.
Since the noodles were too much for me I took some with me.
First we were alone in the outside area and then more people came.

Successful family dinner in a pleasant atmosphere.

We were dining with the family (7 people). The reservation of the table went smoothly. Although we ordered different dishes, the food was put on the table in such a way that we could start with the food. Everyone was happy with the quality. It was a successful family celebration. We will definitely come back. Keep it up!

A personal, nice inn/hotel/restaurant, always happy to return!

We stopped here on our Southern Black Forest tour. The house was renovated inside, i.e. the room and bathroom were very modern, the room maybe a bit small, otherwise everything was fine. The bikes we could safely accommodate, the restaurant very good: delicious food, very friendly and attentive service.

hervorragende Küche und Service

Die "Alte Post" ist für uns die 1. Wahl. Der Service ist schnell, sehr freundlich, es gibt kein "Nein", die Tische sind schön eingedeckt und alles kommt zügig und gleichzeitig. Die Küche ist für uns sensationell, es gibt nirgendwo so gute Spätzle, perfekt, Rumpsteaks auf den Punkt gebraten, eine selbstgemachte Kräuter-/Knoblauchbutter zum Niederknien, man merkt, dass die Saucen noch selbgemacht sind. Die schmecken richtig gut. Der Beilagensalat und vor allem auch der Feldsalat, einfach hervorragend angemacht und serviert. Man merkt die Qualität und auch die Reginalität der Produkte. Hier stimmt auch noch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, leichte Preisanpassungen wegen der Energiekrise werden hier sehr moderat umgesetzt. In der "Alte Post" fühlt man sich einfach wohl, man merkt deutlich, dass das Haus familiengeführt ist. Wir können es nur uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
