This 4-star hotel is located in the centre of Kiel, directly opposite Kiel Main Station and 100 metres from Kiel Fjord. It offers modern, non-smoking rooms with free WiFi.

A very good choice in Kiel
The Hotel Atlantic in Kiel is located directly in the area of the ColorLine and StenaLine ferry terminals and not far from the train station.
The parking garage under the hotel is really spacious and modern. It offers plenty of space even for larger cars. Unfortunately, there is no direct elevator to the parking garage, or we did not find it.
Checking in at the hotel was very efficient and the reception was friendly.
The fitness room includes a rowing machine, a treadmill, and an elliptical trainer. Everything in very good condition. The sauna area is nicely designed.
The terrace bar offers a beautiful view over the harbor area. We unfortunately did not visit the restaurant and therefore cannot make a statement.
The breakfast buffet was very extensive and certainly leaves nothing to be desired. The breakfast room was also well-attended this Saturday morning at 9 a.m. However, we and other guests found a space.
Checking out was also efficient.
So, all in all, a very nice hotel and a very good choice. The hotel also made a good choice with the windows, as they keep the noise from the station forecourt out very well. There may be quieter sides of the hotel than directly facing the station.

I will not go back there personally.
Unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing hospitality experiences I had.
The only advantage of the hotel is the central location. However, the surrounding area is full of homeless, drunk and smug, and in the evening we didn't feel safe to leave the hotel.
The level of service was one of the worst we encountered. The staff was not kind, showed no desire to help, and at every turn we felt disturbing. The attitude was cold and unprofessional, and definitely did not match the level such a hotel was supposed to offer.
The hotel facilities were also disappointed. The wet sauna did not work, although it is famous as part of the hotel's toilets, and no one bothered to inform us about it.
The breakfast was very scarce. The selection was small, and the food was slowly filled or not replenished at all. The feeling was that everything was being saved, and the food was served in very small quantities, not suitable for a hotel at this level.
The cleanliness and general service were also not the level we expected. For the price we paid, we expected a completely different experience.
I would not return to this hotel, nor would I recommend it to others.There are better options in the area that offer a higher level of respect and service.

Reasonable hotel but not special I don't think I'll go back there yet there are plenty of better hotels nearby
The hotel is reasonable, but is located in an area not clean and full of smokers and street residents, there is a feeling of insecurity after 20:00 in the evening to hang around the hotel outside, the hotel staff especially at the unpleasant and humorous reception, screaming and not treating customers, reasonable breakfast not special but there is a feeling that everything has to stand in line and wait a lot of time, a nice little hotel spa but there is a smell of mold from the dry sauna the wet sauna did not work and did not heat up properly, not always turn towels from the floor in the sauna, ordinary rooms but there is noise from the outside because the hotel is right in front of the train station, there are a lot of people and music already 6 in the morning

Our favorite hotel in Kiel. Comfortable and stylish rooms, many with views of the Kiel Fjord, a top-floor restaurant serving excellent food with breathtaking views, and an outstanding breakfast restaurant on the ground floor. The location is superb, right on the waterfront, next to a shopping mall, and just a short walk from the pedestrian shopping streets.
We were offered an upgrade to a suite for an additional €50 and gladly accepted. The suite we were given was absolutely fantastic, featuring a dining table for six, a comfortable seating area with a sofa and armchair, an enormous balcony with spectacular views over both Kiel and the fjord, a separate bedroom divided by a sliding door, and two bathrooms.
A truly exceptional hotel experience.
We were offered an upgrade to a suite for an additional €50 and gladly accepted. The suite we were given was absolutely fantastic, featuring a dining table for six, a comfortable seating area with a sofa and armchair, an enormous balcony with spectacular views over both Kiel and the fjord, a separate bedroom divided by a sliding door, and two bathrooms.
