Disappointing experience
There were six of us at this restaurant yesterday. The food was fine, but our visit was completely overshadowed by a serious experience: My father had ordered the menu, and in the appetizer there was a shard about 1x2 cm in size, which had apparently broken off the glass plate while serving. This was not visible under the food – my father bit it, injured his tongue, which then bled for at least 15 minutes.
When we told the waiter, he simply took the plate and offered to bring a new starter – which we refused in light of the incident. The appetite had understandably passed. However, there was no serious apology or appropriate response. Instead, there was only an espresso "on the house".
We found it particularly outrageous that the entire menu, including the injury-inducing starter, was fully on the bill at the end. Such a handling of an incident of this severity is unacceptable for an alleged 4-star restaurant.
Even if the food itself was fine – we will certainly not visit this restaurant a second time.

Relaxation at its best; there is room for improvement when eating
- Very friendly and dedicated staff, especially at reception
- Nice, neat and large rooms
- Hot tub and outdoor pool are top
- Catering sometimes also in the outdoor areas
- Good location in a quiet area in the middle of a beautiful stream
- Breakfast from 7 am
Negative
- at dinner, lactose intolerance is managed partly positively, partly strangely. Once there is a lactose-free dessert, the other evening all the components containing lactose are simply omitted, which makes the dishes boring and bland. At breakfast there are few to no lactose-free products, even the scrambled eggs are prepared with milk. Considering the 4 stars of the hotel and the price, there is no good relationship here
- Selection and quality of food overall at this price range only average
-Wellness offers are hardly advertised or not advertised at all
- Children in a wellness hotel are borderline, especially if they are placed in the middle of the dining room, which by its size radiates more of a canteen character anyway.

A relaxed weekend
+ very nice overall facility
+ were able to get to our rooms at around 11:30 a.m.
+ were able to use the rooms for longer at no extra charge due to wellness appointments
- our room in the main building was very noisy
- the senior manager still helps with the breakfast buffet (touching slices of bread with bare hands is not acceptable in our opinion!!!)
+ - The nearest pharmacy(s) is missing from the guest information
