A real family highlight in Göttingen!

We “invaded” as a family of five for one night at the Hotel FREE TIME and what can I say? Not only were we warmly welcomed, but we were immediately surprised with two beautiful rooms with connecting doors – the salvation for every parents' evening peace! For the kids there were even sweet bags as souvenirs, which made the bribe... uh, the holiday mood perfect, of course.
Here are our highlights in a quick run:
Rooms & services: Everything was spotlessly clean and so chic decorated We had two Comfort Plus rooms that offered a great amount of space. Possibility to sit and work, if necessary, if you have to travel on business, are available.
Breakfast love : Yes, the price makes you blink briefly, but the buffet delivers! Everything from the omelette station to vegan treats and fresh fruit is there. Whoever walks out of here hungry probably didn't find the buffet. With our children, the vegan celebrated the selection, our protein junkie was more than satisfied and the youngest burst with Nutella after her third serving of pancakes. Children happy, parents could eat in peace ❤️
VITAL SPA & Fitness: The spa offer is amazing. I have never seen the selection of fitness classes and sauna infusions in a hotel like this. Especially sweet: The small group of children who were allowed to splash in the evening ❤️ Heart factor 100!
Conclusion: Whether as a couple, solo or with the whole rattle gang – everyone feels welcome here. We only had a quick sniff, but will definitely come back with more time in our luggage. Thanks for the great stay!

Staff were very helpful. No air-con in the room was tough during 40 deg heat, but a fan was provided at check-in. Pool was very crowded but gym was well-equipped and empty. Breakfast was excellent.

Nice hotel – unfortunately with some drawbacks in service.

Unfortunately, our stay did not go as expected: The booked and paid double room was already assigned to someone else due to an alleged system error. An equivalent alternative in another hotel – as is customary in such cases – was not offered to us. Instead, after some waiting, we received two single rooms, the promise of a refund, as well as breakfast and a long-term parking pass as compensation.
We liked the hotel itself, which made this situation all the more disappointing. We would have preferred a more professional solution.

+ Good place to stay when passing through Germany. Very good breakfast.
- Warning: They charge hotel guests 15 EUR for parking, which I think is bad manners as it is a hotel where you need a car (good manners would be to increse the hotel price not to fool the guests)

Very nice short break

We had Comfort Plus rooms with ample space. Beds very good. Everything clean, including sauna and gym. Breakfast was always great. Service staff extremely friendly and helpful in all areas. Criticism is the considerable parking fees for hotel guests. The regulars in the sauna were unpleasantly loud.
