Great room in the old building, unfortunately unbearably loud.

Actually a nice hotel for a business traveler person, unless you have a room in the old building above the restaurant on the ground floor ..then it will unfortunately be difficult to find peace, because every evening where the restaurant is open before 11 p.m. due to the volume level on the ground floor is not to think about rest or sleep that helps even the still nice studio-like room unfortunately not over it....very happy again the hotel, but please no longer such a room....

Neat meeting and dining

Ambivalent, actually nothing to complain about - conditionally good, some in need of improvement, e.g. breakfast, neat but quality a bit thin. Coffee machine can't do it with rush. Buffet dinner, starters a bit lean and dessert well. Wine selection modest. Staff friendly until seven smart, sometimes we felt you thought the older guests were stupid. But the young employees from the Far East deserve high praise for courteousness and friendliness. So are the housekeepers. Room spacious, bathroom floor tiles although small but very slippery. TV - huge amount of channels. Problem-free WiFi No luggage rack. There is no room to stay in.

HOTEL CLOSED AND ROOM CHARGED

Arrived at 11.00 in the evening, I called to inform of the delay and no one answered (we are talking about 11.00 in the evening not 02.00 in the morning), after which I phoned several times but no Response only a voice disc in German.... not even able to put a voice recording in English. The next day I call to make my representations that I had to look for another hotel to sleep in and instead of apologizing they also told me that they would charge me for the room for the night that because of them I could not spend....
I've never seen such a thing in my life... I don't know how you give people the chance to run hotels...
To be banned from all recommended sites including Booking because they work solemnly to steal money from people

Good price-performance ratio with sauna in the house

After we rang the bell at reception, we were given all the information we needed and quickly shown to our room. Our room was functionally furnished and had a small bathroom with a poorly draining shower. We were pleasantly surprised by the wellness area, with sauna, bio sauna, outdoor whirlpool and relaxation area.
Very clean!
Good breakfast!
YES, we would love to come back.

Friendliness has diminished

We have stayed at the Hotel Krone many times and have always been completely satisfied. This time, however, the friendliness of several people left a lot to be desired. We were also given an ultimatum to check out at 11:05. Shortly before that, there was a traffic jam at reception and we just went back to the room. The friendliest were the chambermaids, who were very accommodating. The bathroom in the new building is also in urgent need of renovation. In our room 305, the drain was not draining properly. The shower was leaking and the silicone seal also needed to be replaced. When we pointed this out at reception, we were given an unfriendly look.
