Excellent experience along the Romantic Road.

It was a very pleasant surprise along the Romantic Road. We were welcomed by Marines, a young lady who went out of her way in a thousand ways to assist us, even in organizing our transportation, with invaluable kindness. The hotel is located a few kilometers from the pearl town of Rothenburg. In front, there is now the train station that allows two adults and two children to reach Nuremberg in 50 minutes with a very convenient daily flat-rate ticket, plus use the city's public transport. The hotel is extremely clean, the services are impeccable, and in its simplicity, the room has everything needed: electrical outlets on both sides of the double bed, additional outlets scattered throughout the room, air conditioning, refrigerator, hairdryer, and some complimentary toiletries for the bathroom. The double-glazed windows provide total soundproofing even with the station in front. The breakfast is abundant and includes cold cuts, hard-boiled eggs, small pastries of every kind, cheeses, yogurt, milk, and so on. For coffee and cappuccinos, there is the classic German vending machine. Inside the hotel, there is also a kiosk where you can purchase drinks, sandwiches, and other snacks throughout the day. In the evening, it is possible to dine at the hotel restaurant where the chef, Manuel, offers well-prepared German cuisine that is definitely abundant! Having said all this, the quality/price ratio is absolutely favorable.

The hotel was not secure. The back door was open to anyone all day long. The front desk didnā€™t open till 5pm and I had to make an expensive overseas call as I have a US phone number. There werr

The hotel was very unique! My kids loved all the art work. Check in was simple and quick and they had good COVID-19 precautions in place. My toddler did somehow encounter quite a bit of dust going down one of the staircase, but to be fair, she has a knack for finding dirt and dust in the strangest places. The location is perfect, close to all amenities. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel!
