Peacefully located beside a forest, this hotel offers a free sauna, a traditional restaurant, spacious rooms and free wifi. Füssen town centre is a 10-minute walk away along the pretty River Lech.

Excellent hotel with outstanding value for money
The rooms, breakfast and spa are very good for the price, and the location next to the Lech and 10-15 min walk from the centre of Füssen is likewise excellent.
There are a few things that lack the streamlined professionalism found at higher-end places (e.g. the shower gel was empty when we received our room), but these are minor issues, and at any rate you don't pay for high-end service either.
The hotel was quiet, and the beds were very good. Breakfast is as it should be, and the dinner menu worked well.

Active relaxation week at Hotel Wiedemann in Bad Faulenbach near Füssen
Wellness and Kneipp treatments are offered.
The hotel has a bicycle garage with charging facilities. The area is ideal for bike tours through the forests and past beautiful lakes.
Good breakfast buffet; the menu for dinner is laid out early at the reception, and a reservation was not necessary during our stay.
Check-in is only possible from 3:00 PM (reception is unattended from 12-3 PM).
The rooms are only cleaned every 2nd day.
We had booked an Aggenstein double room and were in room no. 67 on the 2nd floor. The room has a slanted ceiling, and you have to be careful not to bump your head on the beds; quite a lot of space is lost to the hallway. Otherwise, it is nicely furnished, with good beds, a somewhat small older TV, and the hair dryer can only be used on the 1st setting, otherwise it gets too hot and shuts off. Nice, large balcony.
We were at Hotel Wiedemann 3 years ago, also in an "Aggenstein" room; this one was significantly larger and had a better room layout (room no. 71 on the 3rd floor). The rooms in this category are very different.
We spent a nice, quiet vacation week with wonderful bike tours in Bad Faulenbach/Füssen.

Wonderful stay for a long weekend
The only drawback: actually wanted to book directly to save the hotel the booking fees. Unfortunately, the process did not work out and so I had to book through a booking portal in the end. It's a shame.

Excellent hotel
From the senior and junior chef with their families, to the nice and helpful ladies at the reception, the dedicated maids and friendly waitresses, the outstanding chef Birol (cool guy!) with his assistants, to the two very expert and warm therapists Tamara and Steffi, everyone is very friendly, authentic and very concerned about the well-being of the guests.
The whole team is like a big family and exudes a natural warmth - in dealing with each other and in dealing with their guests.
I sincerely thank you all with all my heart or as they say in Bavaria: "Repay God."
