Nice quiet location hotel

Nice apartment, equipped with everything you need.
Oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment and all imaginable kitchen utensils.
Large balcony with loungers and a beautiful view of the Hopfensee.
Here and there a few minor beauty flaws, such as partially unhooked curtains, or chipped enamel on the bathtub, but that didn't bother me.
What bothered me, however, is the double bed with bunk bed directly on the wall. If you had to get out at night, you had to climb over the other one causing him to wake up, that is not thought through, I therefore preferred to sleep on the couch, otherwise a nice apartment.
The staff is very friendly the restaurant does not offer a menu but a changing 3-course menu for 35.00 euros, which is however consistently very good.
The hotel village is very quiet on the slope and the 10 minute walk to the village is very steep. But you have a beautiful view of the lake.
Overall, I can recommend the hotel, but with 1 point deduction for the unsophisticated placement of the bed.

We were very satisfied and would love to come back !

A nice hotel with flair and a great location. You notice that there is a lot of passion in it and is also constantly renovated and renewed.
Almost everywhere you have a beautiful view of the Hopfensee and the beautiful surroundings.
We had booked with breakfast and there was nothing missing, was just great!

Spectacular views

Better than in the photos, we were impressed, we were in a small apartment and my sister in a room both with spectacular views. Just a catch, the room has no fridge. The apartment has a pretty rigged kitchen, we stayed three days and the area is lovely. You see Neuschwastein Castle from the apartment which I never expected. Super relaxing, the pool great, and the hotel service very good. Yes, I asked to make the apartment the second day because we were warned that they do not unless we asked, and in the end they did not go to clean but in the room yes, so I do not know very well this part, although for three days it was not very necessary. Very good breakfast, dinner has to be booked, so in the end we went to the village for dinner. We were in the castles and also in fussen and took a boat ride on Lake Forggensee, so we highly recommend the visit. I would have stayed a couple more days.

Good hotel for a short stay in the region

I only spent one night in this hotel as I visited the Festival Hall after the holiday.
The single room was clean, the bed comfortable. The swimming pool is quite large, the complex is well maintained overall.
Breakfast was rich and very good.
The hotel is located on a hill but is easily accessible on foot from the lake.

Beautiful region, great hotel!

The region around Hopfensee is simply beautiful! We were able to go on several great bike tours and Hartung's hotel village was the ideal location for us. In the evening you can either stay in the hotel for dinner (don't forget to register!), have a bite to eat in the panorama bar that belongs to the hotel and otherwise you can find very good restaurants in Hopfen am See every evening! The room was spacious with a beautiful balcony and a large bathroom, everything was very clean and practical. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, nothing was left to be desired, absolutely great! We were delighted with the hotel complex, the friendly people and Hopfen am See! We would love to come back!
