Wildenburger Hof is a 2-minute drive from the village of Friesenhagen and a 20-minute drive from the A45 motorway. Free private parking is available on-site. Please note that the Wildenburger Hofs restaurant is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays. The restaurant is highly recommended.

We went there with friends to eat goose. The goose was perfectly roasted and crispy, the side dishes were exquisite and delicious and the wine was excellent. The service was very friendly and courteous. We would eat there again anytime.

Beautiful hotel in such beautiful German countrtside

I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely small hotel. If you are looking for somewhere in the middle of the fields, just nèxt to a fairy tale like castle, Wildenburger Hof is just for you. Very friendly staff and very reasonable price.

Nice but remote

The rooms at Wildenburger Hof are comfortable and clean. Staff are exceptionally friendly and will accommodate guests in every way they can (but it helps to speak German). The locations is very remote, you are going to need a car. Also, the restaurant and bar are open on weekends only, which means that the hotel is very quiet during the week and you will have to travel at least 6 km for dinner. Considering the limited catering facilities during the week, it would have been nice to have tea & coffee making facilities and a mini bar or fridge in the room.
The area is beautiful - especially in the the autumn sun - and great for walking. There is ample information on the area and walks available (books and brochures) at the hotel, but it is in German.
Breakfast is generous and tasty. There is no buffet, but you book a time. Food in the restaurant is exceptional. Not cheap, but well worth it. Book your table as the restaurant is not very big and gets busy at weekends.
We enjoyed our stay at Wildenburger Hof, however we thought that it was overpriced.
