Great stay and base to explore the area!

Fantastic little hotel. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was epic. Felt like a traditional German hotel and a traditional stay!
Room was large and comfortable with a straightforward walk to the transport links. Clean and presentable throughout.

Unexpectedly positively surprised

I arrived out of necessity on Saturday evening and the lady of the house was waiting for me and greeted me very warmly.
The check-in was quick and off to the room, which was a bit older but immaculately clean and, importantly, with a full minibar.
Then in the morning, like the previous speakers, I was greeted by name and escorted to my table. A served breakfast awaited me that had everything I needed and was excellent.

Delightful...

With its wooden furniture, cut out hearts and red gingham The Hotel Gastgeb is a delightful fairytale place to stay.
Friendly staff, amazing breakfast, spotlessly clean - perfect for us - wanted to stay longer.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this quaint little hotel. The staff was super friendly
The area had decent cafes and shops . Werden marketplace was only 3 km with the lake nearby. All in all an awesome experience,

A definite recommendation for night stay and breakfast

My wife and I enjoyed the most wonderful nights rest at a hotel with this quaint little hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable although I did use my own special pillow. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at many hotels and restaurants, the table was overflowing with all types of cold meat and cheese cuts. Coffee or tee by the pot, fresh fruit available to choose from with eggs and bacon on demand. Bread came in a basket with a selection of German and other bread types including rolls, and a whole basket of gluten free bread just for me. Take the time a definitely enjoy the ambiance of this hotel.
