You can't go wrong for the price

We were back in Düren for a long weekend.
The friendly family run hotel fits very well for a few days. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We slept very well and had breakfast. For the price of 12€ nobody can complain here. Super delicious rolls and abundant of everything. Since cereal doesn't stick but BeeHoneyflakes are complaining like someone else. We laughed a lot. The owner is very friendly and at pains.
Only other guests had made some noise early in the morning. It's not the hotel's fault.
We will definitely come back.

Not recommended

So the hotel is old, it is noisy, and was now cold in November too the heaters did not go very well.
And breakfast was an imposition! Except for a few leaves of sausage and cheese no fruit, fresh fruit, lukewarm boiled egg, and two kinds of cakes, old tea bags and hard cereal that could not go out of the glasses.
In the bathroom no hooks, and a shower that already fell off the rail.
All in all not recommended.

It's as bad as it gets. Not a hotel, more of a disgusting hangout. Loudly, sleep is unthinkable.

It's a terrible noisy drop. Old musty. Sleep was unthinkable. Nothing is true of the description. Breakfast deficient. No courtyard, no usable terrace. The interior is old, jumbled up and partly dirty. The bathroom is under all the sows. Shower suspension and wallpaper are fixed with adhesive tape.
Conclusion: Disgusting and not recommended
If photos are desired, I have documented everything.

EINMAL und NIE WIEDER!!!

Im Angebot stehen Dinge, die einfach nicht stimmen: es gibt z.Bsp. KEIN Restaurant, es gibt auch KEINE MÖGLICHKEIT abends etwas im "Innenhof" zu trinken. Auch NICHT in der "Gaststube" -die nur als Frühstücksraum dient.
Die gespielte Höflichkeit des Inhabers hört auf, wenn man Kritik übt. Da wird auf "nahe gelegene" Gaststätten verwiesen. Bei Kritik an der billigen Ausstattung des Zimmers (z.Bsp. Fernseher und FB) erhält man folgende Auskunft:
"Die Fernbedienungen sind auch für einfache Menschen zu bedienen, Seki ist ein hochwertiger Hersteller für Ersatz Fernbedienungen die Gäste gerne mitnehmen.".
Hier wird Gästen eine generelle Diebstahlabsicht unterstellt... und deswegen die "unterste Schiene des techn. Niveaus' bereitgestellt.
Da soll sich jeder selbst ein "Bild" machen - für mich heisst das nur:
EINMAL - und NIE WIEDER! - Gott sei Dank nur 3 Nächte!
Zumal auch das Frühstück mit 9.--€ pro Tag völlig überbewertet ist, was wiederrum zum allgemeinen Preisniveau des sogenannten Hotels passt.
Einheimische nennen dies Etablissement "Kaschemme"..

Sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt

Sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt. Die Bezeichnung Hotel ist für diese Unterkunft sehr irreführend. Wir waren in einem zugegebenermaßen sehr großen Zimmer untergebracht. Ursprünglich handelte es sich wohl um ein Appartment, aus dem die Küche entfernt worden, der Fliesenspiegel allerdings noch sichtbar war. Die Möbel waren teilweise kaputt z.B. hatte der Kleiderschrank ein Loch und im Bad, das noch einen 70er Jahre Charme versprühte gab es eine Kommodo, der die Vordertür fehlte.
Zudem liegt das Haus an einer sehr lauten, die ganze Nacht sehr befahrenen Straße. Da die Fenster alt und nicht besonders gut isoliert sind, war die Nacht nicht besonders erholsam.
Das Frühstück wurde in der angrenzenden Gaststube gereicht und war sehr übersichtlich und einfach.
Alles in allem passt der Preis von 100 € für ein Doppelzimmer überhaupt nicht zu der erbrachten Leistung. Ich würde das Haus auf keinen Fall weiter empfehlen.
