The room was lovely, very spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful with holding baggage and sorting out late checkout for myself. The rooftop bar is lovely and offers great views of Duisburg. The underground is only 2 minutes away from the hotel which makes it easy to get around

Not convincing in detail

The reception at Hotel Twins was simple, but friendly nonetheless. Sufficient parking spaces are available. The location is optimal and the center and a large number of restaurants can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. We had corner room 231 with two large windows that make the room appear in a pleasantly bright light. The room size was sufficient and the room was also functionally equipped. The two-star rating is due to the details. We had almost no Wi-Fi in this room, the bathroom is very small and there is no storage space at the sink, the silicone in the shower is moldy, and there are burn marks on the curtains in the room. Unfortunately, these details contribute to a rather negative overall impression.

Still it's a nice hotel..

Nice new hotel in the center of Duisburg. Not the most beautiful city in Germany, but the hotel can't help it.
Room and shower were neat, but already mold in the Shower cabin...
Room furniture very fragile...
Breakfast okay, staff come to the table to ask what they want.. I wanted bacon or bacon, but according to employees that was not possible, so the option egg...2 mirror eggs remained ordered but they were put cold on the table..have eaten them.
Coffee and water are available free of charge at the bar, apparently as compensation for the lack of kettle and coffee maker
Staff is very friendly, but I have my doubts if this hotel is here to stay!?

A* experience. Would appreciate coffee/tea making in rooms but other than that, a superb experience.

nice place and we enjoyed it very much. Nice breakfast with everything on the menu.
