Great hotel for a city trip

We were in Dresden for 4 days. The hotel is conveniently located for the city center; you can easily reach everything on foot. The breakfast was very good and completely sufficient. Parking spaces right next to the hotel for 5 euros per day or in the hotel's own parking garage for 10 euros per day.

Hotel room was not very spacious. Poorly decorated, no shelf room or table to eat by. No parking available in the hotel parking lot, not either by the side of the hotel. Had to park across the street with limited parking time. Will not come back here. Only plus is that it is close to city centre. Ok for one night, but for more you should probably find another one.

Top hotel, would love to come back.

We were very satisfied there. We lacked nothing. Since we were out all day and only stayed there to sleep, we did not miss the closet. The negative reviews are really complaining at a high level. Sure, it is a bit louder, but you can see beforehand that you are booking on a main road. With the windows closed, you hear almost nothing, and if you are sensitive, you should use earplugs. The fact that the walls have marks from guests is also not that bad; if some people behave like Neanderthals, the hotel cannot always remove the marks immediately. You can also behave reasonably, just like at home.
Only card payment is possible at the hotel.
Conclusion: We would stay at this hotel again.

Modern hotel with good comfort and good value for money

We had a really good stay at the Prize by Radisson Dresden. The hotel is modern, clean and welcoming, and you feel comfortable from the moment you step in.
The room was nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, and both room and bathroom were very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast had a good selection and there was plenty to choose from.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the whole hotel seemed well organized. The location made it easy to experience Dresden, both on foot and by public transport.
Overall we had a stay that lived fully up to our expectations. It is a hotel with good comfort, a relaxed atmosphere and good value for money. We'd love to come back.

Once, but never again

In the pictures the hotel looks well-kept and hip. Upon arrival, you immediately notice the junkies and homeless people huddled around the corner at the entrance to the parking garage. This immediately gave an unsafe feeling.
The staff was very cool and distant and only did the bare essentials.
The room was as shown in the picture, modern and spacious. The bed was of a fine quality and that was a very big plus.
The last day we decided to have breakfast in the hotel (there is literally nothing within walking distance) for which we paid €18/pers. In itself a normal price, were it not for the fact that the buffet was not really lavish. The scrambled eggs took more than 20 minutes. When we made a comment on this, we got the answer ‘We know, the machine is too slow!’
For us, it was once and never again. We chose this hotel because it offered rooms with balconies and allowed dogs.
