Worst experience in my life

I travel a lot, but I haven't had such a bad experience anywhere like this hotel.
I had a confirmed booking via booking. When I was already on my way, a good hour before my arrival, the hotel contacted me. They had deposited an incorrect price with booking. I can keep the room if I pay 100 euros (!) more than agreed.
Of course I didn't agree. I was then cancelled by the hotel.
This behavior is either fraudulent / extortionate or the pinnacle of poor customer service. If it were indeed an oversight, the hotel would have had to bear the consequence and then earned less from this very one guest. If you don't want to be without a room immediately before arrival, you better not book here.

Great location in the center of Dresden

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days, and it was chosen because of its location in the center of the old city.
The room was very well equipped and offered a lot of space, with a small kitchenette, sofa and a small diningtable. The room had a cooling system were you could change the speed of the fan.
The location of the hotel was super and gives you lot of opportunities to explore the city, both the old town and the newer parts on the other side of the Elbe river.
We decided to arrange our own breakfast hence the 24 euro per person at the hotel seemed a little bit pricy.
The hotel offers parking at the “tiefgarage” just opposite the hotel and at the same price as charged by the parking company (28 euro/24 hours). I recommend to take the offer as it gives you the possibility to use the hotel elevator to and from the garage.
A very good experience and I would like to come back another time.

We stayed 6 days. No room service. Toilet paper was not resupplied although we asked for it. High old fashioned bathtub, dangerous to climb into. Beds were not very confortable.
Appartment was quiet and spacious. Public parking has to be prepaid daily. The strong point is the good location.
