Our favorite in Dieburg

Always a pleasure to stay at the Mainzer Hof Hotel in Dieburg.
Nice and kindly people that make you feel ar home. The breakfast is great and they are very flexible with arrival times .
Best relation between price and quality
Would certainly recommend it

Simple and clean

Good location in the town center; train station within walking distance • very tight check-in window at weekends (2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.); Friday to Sunday only cash payment and no breakfast on offer • no room reservation possible via hotel portals • very nice, friendly receptionist • small but clean room with no extras (no kettle/coffee machine, no minibar, very few power sockets) with tiny TV (private channels only from channel slot 303) • very narrow bed with simple mattress (single room) • shower with temperature fluctuations, no shampoo - only shower gel • price/performance rather disappointing • hotel response: "Basically, we can only recommend doing appropriate research in advance in order to meet your own expectations" - I'll leave it at that

Long stay: 3 months

I have done in this Hotel a very long stay: 3 months, moving from Italy due to my job and looking for an apartment in Darmstadt. The Hotel is old, but all the staff people was so nice, kindly and ready to support this my long stay, that these 3 months runned away very fast. Thanks again to everybodies. Stefano

Mainzer Hof recommended

We stayed 3 nights at the Mainzer Hof hotel whilst visiting family in the area and would most certainly recommend this as an very good hotel to stay in the area. Excellent location on the town square of Dieburg and we had a room overlooking the town square which was a bonus. Late arrival but staff stayed behind to welcome us to the hotel, show us to our room and make sure we were comfortable. Very good restaurant adjoined to the hotel in which we had an enjoyable meal. Would certainately stay here again in the future.

Does what it says on the tin.

I stayed for one night on business in October.
Firstly the positives. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom is spotless. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
There is no room service or mini bar, though I ordered from the sister restaurant and though I had to come down, they insisted on bringing it up to my room then!. Room was warm with good climate control and despite it being in the middle of Dieburg, I didn't hear any noise.
Breakfast was fine - no hot option. Hotel itself is dated and could do with a facelift though as I said it's spotless throughout.
It's right in the middle of Dieburg.
