A beautiful place with a magnificent view.

We had a very pleasant stay at Windeck Castle. We, a small group of 17 people, were very well taken care of; the rooms are very nice, some with a magnificent view of the Upper Rhine Valley. The breakfast was absolutely excellent; nothing was missing. The view from the restaurant to the west into the Upper Rhine Valley up to the Vosges is unique, and the large panoramic terrace is also a highlight. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. It was important for us to have a lecture hall. The hotel offers a very nice large hall with very good facilities. For us, it is the perfect place for the cultural days. We can only recommend the hotel.

Nice hotel in beautiful location

Good and attentive staff. The food was delicious and the room has everything you would expect from it.
The breakfast is also very extensive and well cared for.
All in all a must!

Wonderful holiday

There were two of us, our room was very large and in a quaint style, matching the castle atmosphere. The breakfast buffet actually offers everything you need for a good start to the day, egg dishes are freshly prepared on request.
The absolute highlight is dinner. Culinarily, the food is at a very good level, there is fantastic wine and from his table you have a fairytale view of the Rhine plain. Often the evenings are accompanied with a wonderful sunset, for a romantic holiday it is really the perfect location. I actually have nothing to complain about, even that you reserve the sauna on request and this then has 1.5 hours to yourself is actually rather an advantage.
Only those looking for modern and new rooms will be disappointed here. But I really liked this dreamy castle charm

Fantastic location

Very well-kept hotel with the charm of the 1970s/1980s - in a positive sense. Friendly staff and a sweet person at the reception.
However, some areas, such as the multimedia equipment and the bathrooms, need to be improved.

Extraordinary place but some irritating flaws

An extraordinary location, just beneath a ruined castle high on a hill with stunning views of the plain around. Full of atmosphere, lovely terrace (except with huge wasp problem during the summer), local wine production, greta walking around about. Rooms comfortable although on the small size, reasonably well equipped for a hotel of this grade. very good kitchen with interesting food at not-unreasonable prices. Friendly staff. Hopeless wifi, kept dropping out.
