Great Hotel. Great Service. Excellent breakfast.

Lovely comfy bed. Excellent breakfast. Spacious modern rooms. Service is excellent - I left my phone charger in the room and they sent it to be straight away without asking for any postage costs. Although its located on a main road I had a quiet room at the side of the house. Would definitely stay again.

No accomodation possible despite reservation

Rooms have been reserved in advance (including credit card guaranty), with due indication of late arrival between 21-22 h.
Upon our arrival, the hotel door was locked, fortunately some guests let us in using their entry cards.
On the reception desk, a phone number ("notruf") was displayed, but nobody answered the call despite severel attempts. We had to to go to another hotel about 80 kms away. This means zero service, and the Saline Hotel Budingen should take some serious action to be considered as a serious enterprise and not a trap.

Beautiful rooms in 1729 building

The hotel was fantastic. We were travelling as a group of 10 for ten day and this was our first hotel (and ended up being our favourite of all the hotels we stayed in). Everyone in the group loved it. The rooms were well done and modern for the 1729 building. The woman working the front desk was very friendly and helped. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and throroughly enjoyable: the breads, the meats, the cheeses, etc. The bar and hallway refrigerators were self-service and self-declaration upon check-out of things used. It was the honour system, but it seems to work (very unique in this day and age). For our group this was a perfect hotel in a wonderful town near ancestral home towns.

Best in Budingen?

Certainly the best hotel in town, modern, clean, well managed, really nice looking of common places (breakfast place...)
The breakfast offers a good selection.
The people are really nice
Only "negatives" are :
the "automated key delivery" after 20h (nobody available on place then but works ok)
No restaurant in (a self service bar with self declaration of consumed products)
Strange but that's works....

Weekend Break

A lovely renovated bulding very tastefully done. Comfortable rooms our bed was a dream! Bathroom and shower roomy,not claustrophobic.Breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection. Continental breakfast and Bacon and eggs, smoked salmon. For those with a sweet tooth, waffles and pancakes. Pity they don`t have a restaurant.The personal were very friendly an helpful with tips about sightseeing and restaurants. Certainly lots to do out and about and quait cafes and restaurants. Something for every taste.
