Good, quiet campsite

This campsite is big enough to have a very nice pool and small enough to make sure everything is close by. The animation team is fine (three times a day an activity for children). You can order sandwiches that you can pick up at the kiosk by the pool between 8:00 and 10:00. The camping pitches are very large. The private bathroom is fine, but small (this may be because we were one of the few who had a somewhat older bathroom house). The audience that comes here is quiet and social. The car is not allowed next to the tent, but must be in the parking lot which makes the campsite ideal for a holiday with some younger children.

Best Campsite ♡

5 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We have now been to this beautiful campsite 5 times. We simply love it here every time! It is very clean and well-maintained everywhere. The pool is top-notch, and there is an incredible amount for children to discover, from the many great playgrounds to the trampolines.
All the staff, as well as the manager, are super nice, attentive, and extremely friendly. You immediately feel welcome. Unfortunately, this time we had bad luck, as the air conditioning in our mobile home completely broke down. But even in such a situation, the first-class service of the campsite shines through: The manager personally came by, immediately offered us a very fair refund per day, and we were allowed to stay in the mobile home much longer on the day of departure without extra charge (late check-out). Mistakes with appliances can always happen; what matters is how wonderfully and customer-friendly the team here handles it. We will definitely come back in August! Absolute recommendation!

Fine but expensive for what you get

Beautiful, spacious campsite. We had an XL place with private sanitary facilities: very large, but unfortunately partly soggy with a pool of water. For children up to 10 years there is a lot to do: mini golf, trampoline, air cushion, play areas. Pool was not filled yet.
Restaurant was fine, but atmosphereless. Reception friendly but due to staff shortages sometimes waiting for help. Fresh bread rolls every day. Camping is located on a beautiful lake with beach and water play areas. Climbing forest next to the campsite is recommended.
Beautiful surroundings for walking or cycling. Borken is a nice town; we met a food festival. Nice campsite with potential, especially suitable for families with young children.

Very expensive for what you get in April.

We have been here 25 to 28 April 2025 at the XL place U2. I have to say the place is indeed very large, just a pity that we could not use half of this because it was soggy and there were even pools of water on it. The place is also not really flat so you have to look carefully with a tent / trailer where you are going to stand. The private bathroom is really super, spacious and clean, the washing up area outside is really top. The reception is very friendly but the reception is somewhat amateurish. Nice that the park is car-free that gives a lot of peace. from the campsite you cycle right along the lake to Borken, this is a very nice route. Sandwiches can be ordered at the reception and picked up from the poolside kiosk between 7 am and 10 am. All in all a nice place for when you are tired of the Netherlands. Only I expected for the quite high price (€200.00 for 3 nights) and drained and more flat place.

Just a nice family campsite! We have been coming there for 3 years in a row!

Nice, clean fresh air and nature around you.
The children are having a great time and of course the parents are too!
Excellent entertainment and activities for the children.
No cars on the campsite.
Borken center is within 10 minutes by car where all shopping can be done.
Nice clean outdoor swimming pool where you can laze around and swim with the children.
Next to the campsite there is a nice lake where you can swim and walk around, but also play sports.
