The staff on the desk were very welcoming, and offered a lot of local information on my arrival, making me feel right at home.
My room was clean, light, and thankfully there was a fan as the weather was unusually warm during my stay. Shower was good. I would have liked a sign to hang on the door to indicate when the room didn’t need cleaned, as staff cleaned and tidied every day when I was out. That’s not a complaint, but I thought they were going to too much effort! Perhaps there was a sign and I just didn’t find it.
I didn’t have the breakfast but there was coffee and fruit on offer at reception which was most welcome in the morning.
The location is very handy for tram stops, and just a few stops from the city centre. There are also plenty of nice restaurants in the local area and a lovely park and beer garden ten minutes walk away.
I was very satisfied with my stay overall.

The only benefit of this hotel is it its location that’s why it’s not getting one star. Other than that, the staff is rude and inattentive. The main issue was an incident that happened on the morning of my checkout. At about 8:30 in the morning, I was woken up by hammering and drilling right outside of my room. When I messaged The staff, they lied and said that the construction was happening at a neighboring property, not in the building. I then peaked my head outside of my room and clearly saw the maintenance/construction person working on the room right next to mine. I think lying to a guest is very unprofessional. I think scheduling Maintenance in a room next to an occupied room is extremely rude. There was no attempt to rectify the situation or to apologize. I would never stay here again,

Old Town Hotel Berlin

An excellent place that exceeded all expectations! The hotel itself is hidden in a quiet and cozy courtyard, so the rooms were very peaceful, making it easy to take a break from the city noise. The room is very pleasant, clean, and everything looks exactly like in the pictures. At the same time, the property is located very close to the center. Right next to it, there is a grocery store open until late and a huge number of different cafes to suit any taste. I will definitely come back here again and highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel is right in front of the tram and within walking distance from many cool places (Alexander Platz fx). The room was also very cozy but very warm.
The water pressure was very weak.. :)

Very clean and quiet hotel, well situated on the tram line, with friendly and helpful staff, and a great breakfast. Very much enjoyed my stay!
