Cozy, Safe and Great Location!

Cozy, Safe and Great Location!
I booked the Minimal Hostel for two nights in November. I stayed in a co-ed room that had six beds. This was my first time staying in a co-ed room. I was a little nervous and hesitant, but it was great. The employees and guests were friendly. I felt safe, relaxed, and comfortable. It's in a great location that's easy to find.
For negatives: We did have some minor miscommunication in regards to check-in. Also, the WC downstairs was clean, but smelled a little funky.
Overall Minimal was perfect for me; a solo traveler who just wanted to have a safe, comfortable base while exploring Berlin!

"home" in berlin

second time at Minimal, now i'm sure that this will always be my one and only option to stay in Berlin
cozy, quiet and with the minimum you need: comfy beds (except from the pillows), locker and lights next to the bed, a common area with a big table where you can also work as the atmosphere is relaxed, and a big bathroom downstairs with huge showers always clean

Calm, friendly, helpful, great location

I stayed at Minimal hostel for 4 nights, I came quite late at night but Anne kindly left me perfect direction on how to get to the hostel and explained where my room was etc.
The hostel is wonderful, clean, and has a calm environment. It really felt like home. It was also super close to the UBahn and lots of cute cafe's.

Comfortable but stylish small hostel

Anne was helpful and very friendly. She was quick to answer my emails. The hostel was small but the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The small kitchen and bathrooms had all the essentials. The location was great - right near the river and Turkish area.

Great location, spacious, clean, and quiet.

Absolutely loved this hostel! Stayed here for 4 nights while visiting some friends in the city. The location is excellent and in a trendy area. It’s also really close to buses, trains, restaurants, bars, shops and its right next to the canal! The hostel has three rooms total; two private rooms with full beds and one dorm room with 6 beds. The hostel is really clean and spacious. Provided are large lockers for your things and a hanging rack for your clothes. Each dorm bed has a light and outlet so no worries there. Linens and towels are provided for a cost of 3€. The bathroom facilities consist of two toilets and two showers and a spacious sink area. Overall, the hostel is quiet and allows for a peaceful nights sleep and is very reasonably priced. It is a small place so I would recommend booking in advance. This is a great option for older travelers or individuals who want a clean and quiet nights rest and are not into the party hostel scene.
