This hotel was a very pleasant surprise! Incredibly dedicated staff and a fantastic breakfast. A nice, clean room with everything you need. I would gladly choose the same hotel again when I return to Berlin. A nice area within walking distance of the Zoo.

At 40 outside in july we had 32 in the room and no AC. Never again, it was impossible to sleep even with an open window.

Room was clean & staff were very friendly. Location is away from main central attractions but is only a 10 min walk to nearest metro station, which is easy / best way to get around.
However, no air con meant the room was VERY hot. Only a tiny desktop fan provided. Asked for an additional & was told only 1 per room. It was a hot weekend but no air con unfortunately means I will not stay again.
Soap dispensers kept falling off the wall & shower doors didn’t close properly.
This is a perfectly fine hotel, but just needs a little extra work.

The room was generally clean, and housekeeping was provided daily. The shower was quite practical, and the bed was comfortable and adequate. However, I would suggest reconsidering staying here during the summer heat because there is no air conditioning in the room.
​Overall, I was satisfied with the service I received. Many thanks to the staff.

This is a great base for Berlin close to the Zoo. Modern, friendly interior, good value, great beds and our room faced the very quiet inner courtyard - we could sleep with an open window. They contribute profits to the Ernst Reuter Fund for democratic initiatives, which adds to the feel good factor. Didn't use breakfast but looked good standard. Helpful and friendly receptionist.
