Room was large and comfortable. Soundproofing to keep out traffic noise was very good.
Two rail stations within a short walking distance although the pavements were mostly cobble stones so therefore rough on suitcase wheels.
As listed on the hotel website, there is 24 hour front desk coverage, therefore no need to worry about a very late arrival in order to book in. All reception staff, we spoke to, spoke good English and friendly.

Great hotel, clean, good beds, lovely shower, quiet, friendly staff. Metro, supermarket within walking distance

Checking in was easy, the employee was very pleasant and kind.
The elevator was clunky and the hallway to our room smelled nasty. Our room was clean and smelled fresh but the bed was too squishy and non supportive. The walls were thin, we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. We will not stay here again.

Perfect hub for seeing Berlin

The Berliner bär Hotel for me is everything it says on the Tin.
It is a 3 star hotel that has very friendly staff, great travel links and clean.
My room was perfect for my stay with available for most areas of Berlin a very short walk away.
If you want a 5 star super hotel you will pay for it then you get the things people on here are niggling at.
I recommend for your trip to Berlin
