In the public washroom, the only issue is the water staying on the floor after people took their shower. A better drainage system should be enforced.

We had a great stay! Very spacious and close to public transportation. The staff at the front desk were lovely. Also loved that our room had individual lockers designated for each person. Yummy döner / good eats in the area (plus Aldi's next door) <3

A five star hostel

A hostel with a five star rating - well, it really does deserve its excellent reputation. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, lift and common room where we played table football, were faultless. We were a family of four - our room was very spacious with plenty of storage and the beds were all very comfortable with warm duvets. We didn’t bring towels (forgot) but we were able to rent one each for £2.50. The toilet with shower were also very spacious and modern. The location is also perfect. Several nice eateries nearby - pizza restaurant was recommended - all very delicious however, cash only (cash machine nearby). Bus stop on the corner with several buses taking you to different locations - M85 takes you directly to the main central station passing nearby the Brandenburg Gate en route. Almost forgot to mention the excellent €3.50 cappuccino served at the reception. As long as you don’t mind being a short bus ride from the centre, the Coffee Inn Hostel is definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely immaculately clean room,l and bathrooms/ showers were well kept and clean at all times (4 day stay).
Staff were so friendly and welcoming at any time of day (24hr) and it's great you need a key card to acess the lifts to the rooms from a safety point of view.
The only downsides for me were no mirrors in the room and no access to a cooking or tea making area (though it's described on the website).
Having Aldi next door was amazing, but there were no microwave or utensils/ cups to use so you need to rely on eating out or takeaway you can eat without cutlery.
We would definitely stay again!

Good hostel

Coffee Inn Hostel is the name of a hostel located on Pallenstrasse. The U-Bahn (Burkowstrasse) and S-Bahn (Yorck Strasse) stops are located near this hostel. There is an Aldi next to the hostel and a Lidl in the street next door as well as many other shops. I found the hostel quite good: you can drop off your luggage before settling in and before leaving which is good to explore the city. For me, I had opted for a dormitory bed for women so I felt safe. The only downside is the poor insulation, which makes you hear a lot of traffic noise in the busy street even with shutters closed at night.
