Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has a beautiful design, the building is new. Everything was great: the room, the bathroom, the staff, the food. The bed and the pillows are very confortable. The linen and towels were spotless, very good cleaning. The breakfast was excellent and various enough; good coffee and fresh vegetables and fruits. The staff was always kind, polite and careful.
Although the hotel is not centrally located, it is very well positioned, near the subway station. There is also a bus station nearby.

Not recommended!

Very money-minded, every little thing costs too much, a few minutes later also cost a lot. Do not recommend!

Trash and glass shards in the room - no go!

Trash in the room. Glass shards on the floor. No functioning air conditioning. However, it dripped onto the bed and side table. The room tray was not functional until the end of the trip.
Deficiencies were addressed (except for the tray). Unfortunately without compensation or possible breakfast.

I arrived having ridden for 5 hours in 34 degree heat- dehydrated and not feeling well at all. Despite this, and despite all my details having been through Hotels, com booking, I had to fill in a form about my details, and my bike details, then pay local taxes (could easily have waited for checkout), pay a deposit (100 Euros) in case I used the minibar. I then had to produce my passport (no other hotel of the six on the trip asked for this, and I had to unpack my bags to find it). About halfway through all of this one of the receptionists offered me a glass of water. I have had none of this at any other hotel, just gave my name at reception and was given a key. The room 'design' was strange- concrete slabs for some of the walls and ceiling, with marks showing where earlier walls had been, unfilled holes and a crack across the room you could have put your little finger in. The large window too the street had a thick curtain and an outside blind- so open to the world to watch one unless you cut off all the natural light. What was stranger yet were the electric sockets- one by the door, so useless to the occupant, one at random in a wall at waist height, one by the bed, and two others with the minibar and Nespresso machine plugged in. The small desk/table in the wall had none near it. However, the bathroom had no less than five sockets, including one directly opposite the lavatory. There were other issues, but insufficient space here to address them. Generally unwelcoming.

OK stay but could be a lot better if minor changes made.

Upon booking this hotel for a recent business trip (somewhere to sleep basically) and reading the reviews, I felt as ease thinking I had booked a 4* hotel that was fairly if not brand new so that it would be satisfactory.
Location was suited near to the area that I was needing to commute to for work and therefore, was ideal but it was 1 block away from the busy motorway.
Atmosphere was OK as staff at Reception were polite and friendly, therefore I couldn't fault their efforts in providing a pleasant customer service when required.
Rooms were OK, however it felt like the management or ownership of the hotel were trying too hard to make it be something that it isn't quite made out to be. The ceilings were glossed cement, to which you could hear every footstep of the persons above and I could hear the TV from either side of my room late at night (talking 10pm onwards) I had to block out by having earphones on in order to ensure I got enough sleep.
The layout of the rooms is done in a way that doesn't work for all, as the bed was right next to where there is an oven and induction hob along with a sink so there was not enough room for something large or tall to get out of so the only option they had in order to get in and out of bed was on the window side that was wide open for all to see outside on the street. The design of the bathroom also is somewhat over the top as the bathroom floods when using the waterfall shower head as it's partially blocked with limescale along with water on the entire floor of the bathroom despite providing you with a miniature towel to put down that is of much use as putting paper towel on the floor as it's a hazard in my personal opinion.
Room was clean, I give it that as I didn't find any hairs or dirt on the bedding or anywhere in the room so I give credit there but it seems like they've tried too hard to be too fancy with too many switches that would confuse anyone with the blinds on a motor arm that doesn't make sense. A blind or curtain behind that allows you to see out but can't see in would be beneficial than it be either open or closed as the lights are too bright.
Overall, I think given this is more of a 3* hotel and not a 4* as you don't get 4* hotels that you force to self cater in as no Deliveroo or Ubereats are permitted to be delivered or consumed within the hotel. A 4* hotel doesn't have self catering facilities, it should be more of the laid back atmosphere and layout as the room furniture could've been designed a lot better than it has done.
Price wise, again I'd say is a little overpriced for what it is as you can get more for less if you do your research and don't mind walking or getting transport for a short period. If you're charging 4* prices, make the hotel more of a 4* than a glorified 3* thinking it is better than it actually is because it would help draw more people in.
There is not much variety or selection in terms of delicacy in the area, therefore shouldn't ban UberEats or Deliveroo from delivering to the hotel as that is forcing people to use the restaurant in the hotel that may not suit peoples allergies or intolerances.
