Friendly staff and Tasty Breakfast!

We had a great stay here. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel also had a restaurant with breakfast included (scrambled eggs, pastries, yogurt, meats, coffee, tea and more!) The staff was very friendly and helpful! Parking was free on the premises.

Absolutely okay for staying

Reserved here by phone, as there is no possibility to book on the homepage.
Small cozy hotel including breakfast that stopped in the 1970s.
The room I had was absolutely fine and also relatively modern decorated and it was also of course all clean.q
Bathroom is equipped with towels, hair dryer, shampoo and shower gel.
The whole building is quite winding and to some rooms you have to cross the courtyard.
All in all absolutely okay.

Bamberg Städtetour

The staff have welcomed us very nicely.
We had already reserved the rooms with great advance notice. Unfortunately, the reservation has been lost.
But we received our rooms quickly and easily.
The facilities are good, the beds are comfortable.
We really liked the location. A short walk will take you quickly to the Brose Arena or the city.
In the immediate vicinity there are also opportunities to eat.
We didn't try dinner at the hotel, so I can't rate it either.
Breakfast did not convince us. You find something, but a lot is not replenished. I would have liked to try scrambled eggs, but it was always out. That's what boiled eggs are for.
Buns and jam are abundant. The plates with the mozarelle cheese and the spread cheese served were always empty, so you have to be very quick if you want to get something.
Overall, however, you can say we enjoyed the stay in Bamberg.

Unfortunately unfriendly

The manager's greeting was very harsh. We were told to walk a few steps away from the counter and then she would talk to us. We didn't know that the area was for staff only. That could have been said to us in a friendly way. Our waitress, on the other hand, was very friendly. The food was good. It was annoying that the waiter shouted at the other waitresses quite loudly. That doesn't help you feel comfortable.

A little touch of Germany

The hotel is located outside of the city center. The owners are very pleasant. The rooms are located behind the hotel/restaurant and very quiet. We ate breakfast selection of food was good. We also ate dinner at the attached Biergarten and the food was delicious. We would stay here again if we come back to them area . Linda - the castle visit was good
