Super Gästehaus

Ein schnuckeliges kleines Gästehaus mit einer gastfreundlichen Bewirterin. Das Zimmer war groß, hell und sauber. Das Bad mit Dusche und wc völlig ausreichend. Leider war das Zimmer jedoch sehr hellhörig und direkt gegenüber dem Frühstücksbereich, so dass ab 8:00uhr die Nachtruhe vorbei war. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Brötchen, Käse, Salami, Schinken, gekochte Eier, Müsli Kaffee... Alles da.
Beim Einchecken gab es ein kleines Problem. Wir hätten die Schlüssel erst im haupthaus in der Altstadt abholen müssen. Dies wurde uns jedoch nicht gesagt bzw. geschrieben. Die Dame die für das Gästehaus verantwortlich ist, hat uns jedoch bereits uns Zimmer gelassen so dass wir unser Gepäck abstellen und uns kurz frisch machen konnten. Sehr nett !!

Clean and quiet with drawbacks

Pro:
It was clean, quiet and convenient.
Room has all I needed (except for WiFi connection).
Con:
It is 20-30 minutes walk from the old city.
The WiFi internet connection did not work. There was only one LAN cable at the dining room for all guests.
You have to register and take the room key from the associated hotel in Lange Strasse (near the old city) which is 25 minutes walk. I was not aware of it and I did not have a car...

Klein, familiär, etwas außerhalb

Das Gästehaus liegt etwa 25min zu Fuß/ 5min mit dem Bus vom Haupthaus in der Altstadt entfernt.
Die Einrichtung bot alles nötige für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Es ist halt ein Gästehaus und kein Hotel. Standards wie Kosmetikartikel, Fön, Rezeption oder Klimaanlage sind nicht zu erwarten. Aber auch nicht unbedingt nötig.
Die Zimmer u.v.a. das Bad waren sauber und ordentlich, für uns das wichtigere. Die Einrichtung ist zwar nicht mehr die modernste, dafür wird es liebevoll und persönlich geführt.
Das Frühstück hatte zwar nur eine kleine Auswahl, dafür sehr gute Qualität.
Wirklicher negativ ist uns nur wenig aufgefallen. Z.Bsp., dass wir uns die Zimmerschlüssel im Haupthaus holen mussten. Ohne die zuvorkommende Hausherrin hätte dies einen erheblichen Aufwand bedeutet.
Zudem haben die Zimmer keine Rollos, was morgens schnell Licht ins Zimmer bringt. Außerdem sind die Wände recht dünn, wodurch recht viele Geräusche von außen herein dringen. Für Langschläfer nur bedingt erfreulich.

ottima posizione

Ottima la posizione centrale, Hotel pulito e ordinato, personale gentilissimo che parla italiano. Colazione ottima e abbondante, pasticceria annessa all'Hotel. Unica nota negativa il rumore che arriva dalla strada se si ha la sfortuna di capitare da quel lato.

Хороший бюджетный вариант

В Бамберг на выходные попали вне плана, из бюджетных отелей успели забронировать Gastehaus - это филиал отеля Garni. От ж/д вокзала можно сесть на любой автобус, у которого на электронном табло горит надпись ZOB - это автобусный терминал города. Ехать 5 минут и еще 5 минут идти до отеля. Можно и пешком пройти по Луитпольд штрассе до Ланге штрассе 15 минут.
По адресу Ланге штрассе 5 находится отель Garni, вход с улицы через кафе-кондитерскую. Там на рецепции вы получаете ключ от номера в Gastehaus и распечатку карты, как пройти-проехать к отелю, мы вернулись на ZOB, сели на автобус 905 и вышли на третьей остановке Wunder штрассе, идти до пересечения с Капеллен штрассе минут 5-7 и вот ваш отель.
Ключ от номера является и ключом от входной двери.Отель комфортный, наш трехместный номер просторный,в ванной комнате душевая кабина и ванная. Большой телевизор, холодильник. Сытный завтрак -мюсли, яйца,нарезка колбас,сыров, булочки, джемы, мед. Кофе-машина не выключается, вечером можно выпить чай. Рецепции в отеле нет, женщина, сервирующая завтрак и которой оставляешь ключ при выселении, бывает утром до 11, очень любезная. Мы остались довольны отелем.
Не совсем удобно, что рецепция и отель находятся не рядом, но зато и цена за номер невысокая.
