Okay for small money.

Nice family hotel near the village. Everything is within a 15-minute walk. Very quiet room. Unfortunately, my room facilities were a mix of modern and bourgeois.
Daily cleaning of rooms, even on weekends.
In case of health restrictions, make sure you get a room in the house with elevator.
Buffet was sufficient. You get assigned table.
Staff were friendly.
Attention, there are cats running around the house. A little unfavorable for allergy sufferers.
Parking directly at the house.
Small garden with fountain and seating for relaxing.

not again!

Interior design like my grandma's - but clean. The cupboards smell so musty on the inside that I didn't want to store my clothes in them. Dogs are tolerated, but aren't really welcome. When I asked in advance about the possibility of bringing a dog, I was treated very rudely. I wasn't told beforehand that there was a surcharge for dogs and it wasn't on the booking confirmation. Dogs aren't allowed to have breakfast either. Breakfast was also veeeery boring. There was absolutely nothing fresh, just something that had been ripped out of the packaging and put down. Far too few parking spaces.
Be careful, there are several cats running around the hotel - not for allergy sufferers!

If you are looking for a hotel to stay overnight, then this is the right place. It is not exactly inviting to spend rainy days in your room

The hotel is close to the old town. It is easy to reach on foot. The rooms are a bit dated. But the cleanliness and the price make up for this. The breakfast is simple and good. The hotel is preferred by mechanics

A classic in Bad Orb

This nice hotel is definitely worth the price. Everything in and around it has a very authentic german small town look and feel. There are ample parking opportunities in the front yard, the large and comfortable rooms have a shared terrace where you can sit down and enjoy the silence. It is not a luxury hotel, but the extremely helpful and attentive employees go the extra mile to make your stay a truly enjoyable experience. Also included in the room price, the breakfast buffet was more than satisfying.

Oldie but Goldie

The look and feel of the hotel is anything but modern, somehow it got got stuck in the 60's or 70's. Room and furniture were old, but everything in good working condition, only exception was the flat-screen TV which seemed to be new. Bathroom had no window or ventilation. The room was very large, with a balcony/terrace almost as large, and the bed was very comfortable. WiFi in the room worked perfectly well. Breakfast buffet was very good, not fancy, but there was something for every taste, and you can have fresh omelets, scrambled eggs etc. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful. Hotel is less than 5 minutes walking distance from the city centre, next to an old railway station (out of Service).
