Erzgebirge hospitality of the highest quality
Time and again I have been coming to this hotel for more than 20 years and have already been able to motivate many companions to come to Seiffen to the Berghof again and again.
Everything is right here: Room, breakfast, restaurant, traditional Ore Mountain furnishings with a clear mine connection, yet modern equipped with all comforts, but the highlight is the staff - a real “dream team”, almost unchanged for years. Here you simply have to feel comfortable if you are already welcomed with a beam upon arrival.
Also worth mentioning is the excellent location above the village - with wonderful views of the opposite mountains, yet conveniently located and with ample free parking in front of the house.
In winter, if there is enough snow, you can reach the cross-country ski trail directly from the hotel, and in summer, extensive hiking trails invite you to exercise in the fresh air.
As often as possible I will always like to visit this hotel.

The interior is really loving = this really nice ambience is reminiscent of the mining tradition in the region.
But what is even more important, of course: The food was very good, came quickly and our waiter (the Ronny) was very friendly, polite and helpful.

Great holiday in a wonderful hotel
We went on holiday in Seiffen for the first time. We quickly found a lovely hotel, the Hotel Berghof. A little out of the way from the town of Seiffen, but in a wonderful location. A wonderful starting point for hikes through forest and fields. It is a quiet and not particularly strenuous hike to the Schwartenberg, the local mountain of the people of Seiffen, with a wonderful panorama.
The rooms were tastefully furnished, the bathroom clean with fragrant towels. The bed was soft and comfortable, only the footboard squeaked when you bumped into it. But we got used to it and stopped bumping into it and it didn't affect our peaceful sleep. Perhaps it would be a suggestion for the hotel to darken the small windows so that it doesn't get light in the room at 5 a.m. But we weren't late risers.
The food was first class, plentiful and tasty. The same goes for the breakfast, it left nothing to be desired, wonderful.
The staff were always polite and accommodating, even our request for a packed lunch was fulfilled.
If we were to spend another holiday in Seiffen, our first choice would definitely be the Hotel Berghof.

Hotel and restaurant absolutely recommendable
Very pleasant email contact in advance when making the reservation. The hotel is very nice, there is great Erzgebirge folk art to discover everywhere. The rooms and bathroom are large, beautifully furnished and very, very clean. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening. The service was very friendly, and the food was also very tasty. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back.

Quaint Hotel With Impressive Restaurant
The Hotel Berghof and its restaurant offer an exceptional experience in this Christmas village of wood workers and artisans. The hotel rooms are mini-suites with a small T.V. sitting room and canopy beds. The woodwork in the rooms are hand-painted with traditional motifs. The restaurant presents traditional local dishes, beer, wine and the regional schnapps - must try. My wife had "Kartoffelgericht aus dem Erzgebirge" (regional potato pancakes with beef and mushrooms stewed in dark beer). I had venison also stewed in dark beer, sort of like a sauerbraten. Mouth-watering food! The included breakfast buffet was also excellent and extensive.
