Recommended for a business trip

There was not much going on in the hotel, which has recently been under new management. Nicely renovated rooms with good value for money, preferably booked through portals. Breakfast was sufficient, OK for one night. Parking on site. A bit far from the spa park and not within walking distance.

Business trip

a small quiet hotel near Leipzig.
I was passing through and this hotel was recommended to me.
unfortunately I had a small bed (like a cot) the walls are very thin so I didn‘t have a good night's sleep, my neighbor snored :)
on the whole ok and the breakfast was ok too:))

Good Home Food

After a lovely Walk in the Dubener Heide we returned to have lunch in Bad Duben which is a spa just outside Leipzig . The waitresses very friendly and the food down to earth and very tasty. The menu is in English which is good when you have family visiting. Prices very reasonable , around 12€ for schnitzel and Co. Coffee and cake very nice.

Clean and friendly

The staff is very friendly, however I do not know if they speak English. The rooms are clean and the restaurant is very good. They offer local dishes which are value for money. The location is good if you want to travel in the area between Berlin and Leipzig.

Surprise of Napoleonic proportions!

Driving tour with family and decided to stop in Bad Duben on a late night whim. Staff reopened the kitchen and served whatever they had with a smile. 2 bed corner room became a 3-bed room while we munched on the cook's creative efforts near midnight. Spacious room, nice breakfast spread, gracious staff, and entertaining display of Napoleonic history entertained us in the historical hotel. Upon check out we finally asked the desk clerk "Why Napoleon?" Incredible history lesson by the charming clerk. Fascinating, the general himself had eaten and slept there just like us! He was then equally thrilled to share his love of American football, at the risk of his own national sports' waterloo. The Dallas Cowboys aren't just America's team! We had safe, protected free parking, informed clerks, and efficient, friendly assistance at every turn.
