One of the best hotels I stayed in. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding! It had everything you could ever want. And if it wasn't there, the great staff was willing to get it for you. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night. Anklam itself is not very exciting, but it seems to be nice for outdoor activities.

Ambivalent

A wonderfully arranged hotel in one part of the former post office. The room was spacious, and the meals included in our stay were delicious and plentiful.
However, we can easily answer the question posted on a note at the entrance door, asking who nowadays would still pay in cash, with the indication of mandatory card payment: We!
It is simply not acceptable to demand that companies which have only accepted cash payments until now should kindly open up to card payments, while conversely, the reduction to this form of payment must be tolerated. One can understand both the motives on one side, but also on the other side. Nevertheless, the principle of equal rights for all applies.
Therefore, unfortunately, there is a deduction in the overall rating...

Nice hotel in Anklam

Very nice hotel in Anklam. The hotel is built in an old post office and the history can be clearly seen on the decoration. Good restaurant and really delicious breakfast. Rooms with everything you need. Parking is in the backyard with very few seats and should be reserved in advance. There is the possibility of wellness, which we did not use. With such a nice hotel, however, we wondered that the soap dispenser in the bathroom could be empty in both the 2 rooms we had booked.

Much more than the photos give away.

A really great hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated.
The wellness area has been excellently renovated and very nicely designed. Here the interior designer really did everything right. We enjoyed visiting the sauna every evening.
The swimming pool is completely new and very attractively designed.
Of course, this should be seen in relation. 5 star hotel at 300€ plus have more to offer.
But this house offers great value for money.
Oh yes, breakfast was 5 stars plus. With the most delicious scrambled eggs.

Very good starting point for day trips

Greatly restored hotel in the old town. Room large, clean with nice bathroom. The hair dryer next to the toilet might not be so good. Many storage facilities even in the bathroom. Very friendly staff in housekeeping, restaurant and bar. I guess the ladies at the front desk are superfluous. None of our requests and questions they could answer (please after bigger bathrobe, please seat reservation in the restaurant, opening hours Oceanum in Stralsund with ticket purchase) and a "good morning" could probably also be expected. But those were just a few little things, because otherwise the hotel is absolutely recommended, as is the restaurant. Breakfast was very rich and varied. There was really nothing missing and also the dinner was delicious. Nice terrace upstairs. You could have had dinner there. The spa is small but clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the stay! Good starting point for day trips!
